OUR INSPIRATION...
Many of the most beautiful cakes I have created
have been inspired by my Brides. I adore the creative
challenge of bringing your dreams to life, taking
inspiration from your wedding day ideas and themes
to produce your perfect, one of a kind bespoke
design. I am very proud of my reputation for creating
outstanding cakes to the very highest standard for
clients including royalty, society and celebrities
such as Kate Moss, Stella McCartney, Madonna
and Elton John. If you would like me to create
something entirely unique, please book a one-onone consultation after which I will prepare
design sketches and samples with a full
quotation for your approval.

your wedding cake should be more than just a visual
masterpiece but also a delight to your taste buds.
Our commitment to quality ensures that only the
finest ingredients are used and that all produce
is freshly baked to order at the Peggy Porschen
Parlour in Belgravia, London. Using traditional baking
techniques, Peggy creates deliciously moist cakes
lovingly layered with home-made buttercream,
luxury preserves and artisan chocolates. Every Peggy
Porschen wedding cake is baked with the love it
deserves and our brides are welcome to choose a
different flavour for each tier of their cake.

ORDERING YOUR WEDDING CAKE
TASTING & CONSULTATION
If you are considering
commissioning Peggy as your
cake-maker, please contact
us to arrange a tasting &
consultation at our Bridal
Boutique in Belgravia, London
where you will have the
opportunity to sample our
delicious flavours, view the
beautiful cakes on display
and browse Peggy’s portfolio
of latest designs. To help us
guide you to find a design
that is perfect for your
wedding, please bring along
anything that might inspire
your cake such as a piece
of lace from your gown, a
picture of your flowers or
colour swatches.
WHEN TO ORDER YOUR CAKE
We will do our utmost to
accommodate all requests,
however, to allow us
sufficient time to create
and process your wedding
cake order we recommend
giving 3 to 6 months lead
time. Bookings are taken on
a first- come, first-served
basis and we reserve the right
to decline. For weddings
scheduled from May to
September we recommend
confirming your cake order
and delivery date as early as
possible, alternatively you
can reserve your date with a
£300 non-refundable holding
deposit and decide on your
design at a later date.
HOW MANY GUESTS
WILL THE CAKE SERVE?
Before choosing your design
it is important to consider
how the cake will be served.
If you wish to serve the
cake as dessert you should
consider how the flavour will
complement the main menu.
It is important to consider
how many portions your
cake needs to provide and
whether you intend to serve
party portions or full dessert
slices. If you only have a small
number of guests but would
like a large cake to display,
we can include dummy
tiers. Likewise, should you
require additional servings
to the main cake we can
provide additional cutting
cakes. Prices are available on
request; please contact us
for a quotation.
WHERE WILL YOUR CAKE
BE DISPLAYED?
Your Peggy Porschen
wedding cake should act as a
centrepiece so it is important
to give some thought to
how and where it will be
presented at your venue.
Traditionally the wedding
cake is presented on a stand,
it is important to ensure that
it is a stand of appropriate
size, placed on a table with
a crease-free, clean, floorlength table cloth and that
the table is positioned on
stable ground.

We offer a variety of cake
stands for hire or purchase
suited to our Wedding
Cake designs. Please note
that cake stand hire is only
available if ordered with
a cake. Hired cake stands
need to be returned within 3
working days of your event.
Alternatively we can prearrange collection
from your venue for an
additional charge.
Where possible we will
accommodate any changes
you wish to make to your
order and will charge you for
the additional costs accrued
at our discretion. As wedding
cakes require longer leadtimes we ask that changes are
made no less than 6 weeks
prior to completion. Please
note that any changes you
wish to make to your order
must be confirmed in writing
or by email.
As part of our service we
offer personal delivery
and set-up, however, as
we can only carry out a
limited number of personal
deliveries, advance booking
is highly recommended
during the wedding season.
We will liaise with your
venue to schedule a delivery
slot and to check that all
arrangements for assembly
such as the cake stand and
cake table have been taken
care of. Our delivery service
is dependent upon availability
and will be charged on an
hourly basis determined by
the travel distance and the
time and labour required for
assembling the cake. Prices
are available on request;
please contact us for a
quotation and availability.
For cancellations with more
than 6 week's notice before
completion, the deposit
payment is non-refundable
and any specially ordered
items and work already
undertaken in accordance
with your order is chargeable
in addition. For cancellations
with less than 6 weeks' notice
before the completion date,
the full balance is payable.
WILL YOU USE FRESH FLOWERS
TO DRESS YOUR CAKE?
If you intend to decorate
your cake with fresh
flowers, we recommend
that these are provided
by your florist to ensure
that your cake decoration
perfectly coordinates with
your reception flowers and
bouquet. Our cake prices do
not include fresh flowers;
however, as part of our
service we will liaise with
your florist prior to your
wedding and discuss the
floral requirements and set
up arrangements for your
wedding day.
ALLERGIES & SPECIAL
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Peggy Porschen Wedding
Cakes contain butter, gluten
(wheat) and eggs and are
made in an environment
that handles nuts, soya
and alcohol. Nut-free and
alcohol-free cakes can be
made on request but we
cannot guarantee that these
cakes will not contain trace
amounts of these ingredients
due to the nature of
production. Peggy Porschen
Cakes Ltd accepts no liability
for customers suffering
allergic reactions from eating
our cakes. It is the customer’s
responsibility to make
Peggy Porschen Cakes Ltd
aware of any special dietary
requirements that need to be
accommodated in the making
of their cake.

COLLECTION
Should you wish to collect
your cake from the Peggy
Porschen Parlour, we will
provide you with full
transport, assembly and
storage instructions where
required. Please note that
once collected, the full
responsibility for the safety
of the cake is with the client
and Peggy Porschen Cakes Ltd
is not liable for any damages
thereafter.
PAYMENT
A 25% non-refundable
deposit is required on order
confirmation and must be
cleared before any work is
carried out. The final balance
is payable 6 weeks before
completion. For orders with
less than 6 week’s notice the
full payment is required on
confirmation and is nonrefundable.
