"Looking Back"
In sharing all our memories of days gone by
times we've gone through before,
I shed a tear for the fast, fun year
And hope of remembering there's more.
In the looking back of "remember when?"
to think what we must be,
has certainly taken more than three years
if not eternity.
If I hadn't taken the time to care
would I have filled my memory up?
Or with each encounter found some, hing
to remember
And nothing to forget.

...a warm bonfire
...a spirited parade
...a victorious football game
... a delightful dance
...and a homecoming full of memories!
Freshman Float: "Gotcha in our Jaws"
\
Sophomore Float: "We're Expecting T'win"
,.
For once the police arrived on time and the 1975 Homecoming
Parade wound its way through downtown Decatur under warm
sunshine and a bright blue sky. The Frosh got off to a good start
with their very first float: "Gotcha in our Jaws". They received
third place. "We're Expecting T'win" was what the Sophomore
float had to say about Homecoming-and besides guessing right,
they collected second place. The Juniors wanted the Bulldogs to
"Rock on" but they probably got more than they bargained for
when their bulldog rolled right off the truck!! Nevertheless, they
received first place. We all knew that "Bulldogs are Ou ta Sight,"
but the Seniors proved it to us without a doubt. Too bad the
judges didn't appreciate their efforts: Seniors landed a fourth
place prize!!!!

Homecoming games are always full of
excitement and Tun and this year was no
exception! After last year's tuff 29-20
victory over Tolono, we knew that Lakeview was going to be no push-over. At
first it lool<ed as though 1t was going to
be as close as last year, but the consistent
running of Marty Bushell and Jerry
Jones put that thought to an end. By
the time the horn sounded the Bulldogs
were on top 47-12.

As you all know, in October, all of us lost two very special guys, Mike Doolin and Alan Hall. About this same time last year Mike
stood very proud on this stage and Alan stood proud out there in the crowd. Early that one Thursday morning in October Mike and
Alan were killed. I visited the Doolin family, Mr. & Mrs., Kevin, Chris, and Theresa as they stood strong just a few hours after the
accident. The whole family told us to be strong and to play the Tolono game with all of our hearts. That Friday afternoon the team
decided to dedicate the Tolono game and the rest of the season to these two great guys. We couldn't have made it through that
game and the rest of the season without these two very special families. So on behalf of the new 2-A State Champs of 1975-76,
thank you Mr. & Mrs. Doolin and family; Mr. & Mrs. Hall and family.
Thank You,
Marty Leech

Once again, the Mission Club invited
Santa Claus to be a part of our 1975
Christmas Party. Mission Club brings the
deprived children of our city to St. Teresa
every year, to come and enjoy an afternoon of fun. Each child is sponsored by
a student from the school, who then in
turn, buys presents for the child. The fun
and games begin at two and at four the
children leave with smiling faces, hearts
full of love, and an armful of toys.

BASEBALL
Coach Rowley's forces proved to be one of the best in the
area. The Bulldog base ballers finished 11-3, including a phenomenal nine-game winning streak. That streak. led the
Bulldogs to an exciting showdown with Macarthur in the
District Championship Game.
Pitchers Bill Leonard, Tres Kern, John Browning and Jack
Hinton held opponents in check while St. Teresa hitters used
their "Iron Mike" experience to blast a record number of
home runs.

STHS WELCOMES
HELENA DA WIDOWSKI
She always has a smile to share with all her new American friends.
The Dawidowski family back in Johannsburg, South Africa,- Dad,
Yana (the dog), Mom, Helena, Tadeusz, and Ingrid.
Thanks to Helena's host family, the Strobels, she has had
many memorable moments.
During this year I've probably realized some of my wildest
dreams-and thanks should go to my most wonderful and lovable
family, the Strobels. To St. Teresa's faculty and students, thank you!

EXPERIENCE IS THE KEY
Experience is a key ...... .
That unlocks treasured, hallowed doors
Revealed to you in moments
as you've never dreamed before.
At times when it would
seem this path could not
be meant for you.
Be not one to hesitate
but BE the one to do.
So venture forth, get both feet wet
be all you dare to be
With courage at the doorstep
Experience is the key.

... But as seniors, we've changed our "styles."
Bonch, what did ya get from Uncle Sam?
It seems like only yesterday I was a freshman,
jubilant, anxious, and overwhelmed by the people
who weren't anything to me then ... slowly we
came to be ...

... the only complete class ring selection.
CO.
You'll choose a class ring only once. Its design
should reflect your own good taste and preference.
But some manufacturers offer you only one (or
sometimes two) designs to choose from. Treasure
Craft offers four designs. And to further personalize
your class ring, extra design options are available.
The Treasure Craft ring you select will be one
you've helped create and it will be on its way to
you in just four weeks.
