witherspoon - Projects Watches
Digital Destruction 2013
design: Ross McBride
Time marches on. The old must make way for the new, but
sometimes it does not go willingly as with the Digital Destruction
Watch. Set in an analog body, the traditional mechanical dial
seems to have shattered to make way for the digital LCD screen.
The “crown” is actually a button that switches between time,
second, and date modes, as well as activate the backlight.
Digital Destruction is a unisex watch measuring 38mm in
diameter (1.50"). It is available in three styles: black IP
stainless steel with black leather band, natural brushed stainless
steel with black leather band, or brass colored stainless steel
with brown leather band, and displays time in a military style 24
hour format (ex. 22:00 = 10:00 pm).

NADIR 2013
design Damian Barton
Nadir is the deepest point on a celestial sphere directly beneath a surface position.
It indicates the profoundest depth which lies below. The Nadir watch never strays from the
symbolic "core" of time itself. The varied thickness of arrows on the tips of hour, minute and
second hands pinpoint the cycle of time on the dial centered underneath the lens.
Time is the Nadir.
Model# 7265
Nadir is a unisex watch measuring 40mm (1.57") in diameter and 8.8mm (0.35") high. It is
made of a black IP stainless steel and comes with a 20mm (3/4") black leather band.
An optional black silicone band is also available.

A Watch that changes from an x-ray image to a photo image with a flick of the wrist!
Time-is-Short's use of 3-D imaging makes it a unique timepiece guaranteed to cause double-takes.
The first dial image depicts the timepiece in living color on the arm.
The second image reflects the skeletal image your radiologist sees!
Time-is-Short measures 40mm (1.57") in diameter and 8.8mm (0.35") high.
It is made of brushed stainless steel and comes
with a 20mm black silicone band.

Moon Crater 2012
Design: Ran Lerner
See What Galileo saw through his telescope in 1609…not really,
but Moon Crater draws its inspiration from its namesake with elevated gold numerals 3, 7,and 11
sitting atop raised platforms within the recessed case.
The minute and hour hands move across the dial and perfectly encircle the raised numerals
several times each hour.
Framing, if only for a moment, the preciousness of time.
Moon Crater is a unisex watch measuring
40mm (1.57") in diameter and 7.6mm (.30") high.
It is made of a black IP stainless steel and
comes with a soft black leather band.

Towards 2012
design Denis Guidone
"ergonomic shape
and angle for ease of telling time "
Towards is characterized by a slanted case and a 20
degree shift in the position of the number twelve. The
face is simple and elegant;
to emphasize the re-orientation, the number twelve is
printed on the glass, the crown placed below it on the
case, and the date calendar at 4 o'clock.
A flick of the wrist is no longer needed to balance
space and time.

7288 W
7288 BY
Towards measures 40mm in diameter (1.57”) and 10.0mm (0.39”) high at the lowest point of the
case (remember the case is angled like a ramp!) and 14.79mm (0.58”) high at the highest point.
The IP plated stainless steel case is complemented by a 20mm leather band with black buckle.

Sometimes (color version) 2012
design Denis Guidone
The palette of Sometimes is both
contemporary and classic, with elongated blue,
orange or magenta hands juxtaposed against
the black dial.
The second hand aligns with the minute and
hour for but a moment.
The independent movement of the seconds
appear to be out of sync with time itself.
“Sometimes it's better to stop thinking about
the time, whatever happens, it will not stop.
Hours, minutes and seconds continue to play
together. Something will happen…
Let's wait.” Denis Guidone

Syzygy, named for the scientific term for astrological alignment, celebrates the unity
of color, form and function in a sophisticated mono-chromatic presentation. Available

Graves signature form), a bright orange sweeping second hand, and easy to see white
hour tick-marks. The entire composition is capped off by an oversized spherical knob.
Syzygy measures 36mm in diameter (1.40”) and 8.60mm high (.34”.) It is made of

These are not Nero’s Roman Numerals! Forum delivers
a decidedly 21st Century interpretation of this classical
numerical form. The slim stainless steel bezel provides
a simple, elegant frame for the classically inspired
hands while a mint-green second hand affords an
unexpected pop of color. Altogether timeless styling
with a decidedly modern twist.
Forum measures 38mm in diameter (1.5”) and 8.5mm

black stitching.

Ana Watch
with white leather band
In the design of a watch, as in my architecture, I adhere to
modernist vocabulary, focusing on proportion, human scale
and the manipulation of a strong geometry. Working on
various designs of objects used in daily life, such as watches,
I am conscious of participating in a tradition of architects
that worked in a variety of scales such as Joseph Hoffmann
and Frank Lloyd Wright. In my case, the theoretical point of
departure is consistently related to function and beauty.
Ana measures 38mm in diameter (1.50”), and is a unisex
watch made of stainless steel, complimented by either a
20mm (3/4”) charcoal gray or white leather band.
Richard Meier received his architectural training at Cornell
University and established his own office in New York City
in 1963. Since that time his international practice has
encompassed major cultural and civic commissions such as
museums, courthouses and city halls in the United States
and Europe; corporate headquarters, housing and private
residences all over the world.
Mr. Meier has received numerous awards honoring his work
including the Pritzker Prize for Architecture, the Gold
Medal from both the American Institute of Architects and
the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Praemium
Imperiale from the Japan Art Association and the Gold
Medal for Architecture from the American Academy of Arts
and Letters in 2008.

Free Time Watch
Design: Laurinda Spear FAIA, ASLA
Inspired by the arrangement of space and
time itself, orbiting rings move at different
speeds to complete the sequence used
to measure time.
Three concentric rings rotate clockwise
and synchronize at their openings to
register the precise time. The hour, minute
and seconds are defined by the outer, middle and inner rings respectively.

Laurinda Spear’s new CHROMA watch is a tour into the
dimensions of color; hue, lightness and colorfulness. The

colors of Chroma’s dial, displaying a kaleidoscopic Munsell
Measurement. (*the Munsell Measurement is the standard
measure of the three dimensions of color: tone, value and
color purity).
While Chroma’s numerals change colors every second, the
hour hand colors merge from one palette to another more
gradually creating beautiful hues of the color spectrum.
