Jordan Roth and Richie Jackson will be awarded The Trevor Hero Award at
TrevorLIVE NY on Monday, June 13, showing LGBTQ youth that the future is full
of possibilities. The Trevor Hero Award increases visibility and understanding of
the LGBTQ community.
Roth is the President of Jujamcyn Theaters, overseeing five Broadway theatres
that present some of the most influential and successful shows on Broadway
today, including the Tony Award-winning Best Musicals The Book of Mormon,
Kinky Boots and Jersey Boys. Combining his love of the theatre with his passion
for making a difference in our community, Roth created Givenik.com, a unique
service allowing theatergoers to buy discounted tickets and give 5% of their
ticket price to the charity of their choice, supporting over 500 organizations from
major national agencies to local PTA groups.
Jackson is president of Jackson Group Entertainment, a production and
management company. For seven seasons, he executive produced Showtime’s
Nurse Jackie (Emmy and Golden Globe nominee for “Best Comedy Series”) and
co-executive produced the film Shortbus.
By taking the stage as Trevor’s Heroes, Roth and Jackson’s caring presence will
help save young lives.

Leigh Silverman, a two-time Obie winner, directed the Broadway and
Encores productions of Jeanine Tseori’s Violet for which she earned
a Tony nomination. Other Broadway credits include David Henry
Hwang’s Chinglish and Lisa Kron’s Well as well as Andrew Lippa’s
Wild Party for Encores.
