As your State Attorney, I am dedicated
and committed to protecting and
vigorously prosecuting those that target
and prey on the most vulnerable
members of our community, such as
elderly, children, and animals.
Tlu·oughout my career and as your State
Attorney, it is important that my
administration provide a voice to the
voiceless that have been harmed by
criminal acts. Upon taking office, as
your State Attorney I implemented the
White Collar/Animal Abuse Division
that specializes in prosecuting those that
victimize the vulnerable members of
society. Since establishing the
specialized White Co llar/Animal Abuse
Division om office has had tremendous
success in prosecuting these crimes.
Prosecutors in the White Collar/Animal
Abuse Division provide community
outreach to ra ise awareness in the
community in an effort to prevent these
crimes from occurri ng. Prosecutors
actively support Law Enforcement
during the investigation and
aggressively prosecute offenders that
have been charged with these c1imes.

being a victim of fraud

Keep your PIN numbers
separate and secme

Check financia l records
regularly
Monitor your credit report
Don't respond to unso licited
emails, especially if they are
requesting money and/or

Don' t use cash for products and
services without verifying the
validity of the company and
getting a proper receipt
Don't send money by wire
transfer to anyone you do not

Destroy mail that contains
personal information
Use caution when giving money
or personal information to a
person in a position of trust
Check on elderly people that
