CLIQ Project Creating Local Innovation through the Quadruple Helix Mini pilot project «TUIDEACLIQ.COM» Results 4 April – 31 May 2011 Mini pilot project – CEEI Bahía de Cádiz • Previous idea: Innovation Marathon at Schools – Had to run it with game owner organization. – Too expensive to run: over the budget. By that time... • SINC was running ”Make Brighton Rock”. Why ”Tuideacliq”? -SINC similar organization to CEEI Bahia de Cádiz -The idea of MAKE BRIGHTON ROCK could work in our area. -New experience for us. A public participation contest. -Something that could easily be repeated following years. -Simple. -At project level, it could be a good idea to obtain different results with same project in different regions. Strategy - Involve all actors of QH First step -Create web platform. Similar to Make Brighton Rock. Strategy - Good dissemination: - Corporate creativity: logos, adverts, web, invitation to public presentation, ... Strategy - Good dissemination: - Partnership with local media company: Strategy - www.lavozdigital.es - Cadiz edition - 150.000 banners - Jerez edition - 150.000 banners Strategy - LA VOZ DE CADIZ - ½ page Advert Mon to Fri (2 months) - 1 article / week Strategy - PUNTO RADIO - Adverts (4 times a day / 2 months) - Mention on top audience programme mid day. Public Launching Event 4 april 2011: • • Invitation Media coverage Statistics: Duration: under 2 months (4/4 – 31/5/2011) Registered users: 714 Number of ideas: 57 Number of votes: 673 Number of comments: 74 Number of press adverts: 42 Number of radio ads: 168 Number of digital ad prints: 300.000 Statistics April: Statistics May: What’s next: Judging panel is meeting to choose best idea out of first 10. (21st June) - 2 members of CEEI Bahia de Cádiz - 2 members of La Voz de Cádiz - 1 Member of each actor of QH - University of Cadiz: Dean - Businesses: Confederation of Employers of the Province of Cadiz - Administration: Regional Minister of Economy, innovation and Science. - Society: Local disabled association. What’s next: Prize giving: 29th June 2011 -Top 1st idea voted by users. -Idea out of 10 best, voted by judging panel. Best achievements: - Positive response from Civil Society: - Good ideas Positive comments. Number of participants. Use of social media by participants to have more votes. - Media support from day 1. FINAL CONCLUSION: If you motivate civil society to generate innovative ideas, if you show them the importance of it and place the right tools/channels to get that information, QH could work Thank you very much
