AWARD-WINNING THEATRE IN DOWNTOWN PITTSFIELD JULIANNE BOYD, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR TRISTAN WILSON, MANAGING DIRECTOR CELEBRATING 22 YEARS OF GROUNDBREAKING THEATRE 2016 SEASON Dear Patrons, Get ready for a fabulous 2016 season! This summer we have pirates, magicians, bounty hunters, a kind-hearted president, an aggressive rich man who wants to be president (no, it is not taken from the news), and twins on the verge of college. We also have a biracial couple trying to make sense of the world today and a young deaf man on the cusp of adulthood trying to understand the hearing world around him. We have put together a season that is funny, witty, touching, provocative—and entertaining. We hope our plays and musicals will inspire continued discussions with friends and audience members. We pride ourselves in bringing together unbelievably talented composers, playwrights, directors and actors and giving them the opportunity to do top-notch, compelling work. This season we are thrilled to have three world premieres: Presto Change-O, American Son (winner of the 2016 Laurents/Hatcher Award for Best New Play), and Broadway Bounty Hunter. We believe that new work is the heart and soul of theatre, and we continue our commitment to nurturing new works. We are the place to be this summer! Take a look at all of the superb shows, special events, concerts and cabarets that make up our 2016 season – more than 260 performances from May to October. Order your tickets today. Buy a pass and see several shows. Not only will you save, but you will also have access to the best seats in the house and flexibility in changing your dates. See you at the theatre!
