Back to School Blessing Offering Once again Emmanuel will be participating in the Back to School Blessing Event. For ten years Emmanuel people have donated their time and funds to purchase and fill backpacks with school supplies to be given to needy school children in our community. The Elders have approved a special offering for July 10th and 17th to support this local ministry. Please consider what the Lord would have you contribute over and above your regular giving. The red line represents the average giving received over the previous 13 weeks while the two blue lines represent our goals for funding the budget and for hiring a Worship Pastor. Men’s Breakfast New! Youth Trip to Wild Waves Don’t forget to join in with the Men’s Ministry in August. All ages are invited to attend. Youth of all ages (going into 7th grade through graduated seniors) are invited to join a day trip to Wild Waves in Federal Way, WA. Students please meet at the Youth Center at 7:30am to get loaded up in the vans. The cost for the trip covers, admission, lunch and transportation and a permission slip is necessary for all students under 18. Some additional information about this trip is that one piece swimsuits are required on this trip for female students. We also suggest that students bring an additional $10 to cover dinner. Please contact Pastor Eric to sign up. Men’s Prayer Group Wednesdays, 6:30AM, Fireside Room Coming Up! Mid-Summer Night July 30, 2:30-8:00PM We are just about two weeks away from this exciting event! We still have a few spaces open on softball teams, no experience is required, just a healthy competitve spirit! The softball tournament starts at 2:30pm for all ages, followed by a potluck and Hymn Sing led by the Griffin Family Band! To sign up for a softball team or potluck item, see The City post or call the Church Office. For the next two sundays you can also sign up for a softball team on the Connection Card!
