K-pasa weekly dining & entertainment guide
Dear sir / madam,
K-pasa Curaçao has been published on Curaçao since 1997. Every week since, it has
shown a weekly overview of things to do on the island. We never missed a week!
K-pasa is a handy overview of dining, entertainment, parties and lots more events
how you can keep yourself busy. It also shows an overview of happy hours and the
newest movies of the week. Best of all: it’s free for the public.
Advertisers have been loyal to our magazine since we started. K-pasa is amazingly
popular since, and it really works for advertisers! Tourists and locals find their way
around the island, on a daily basis, with K-pasa in their hands.
Companies have the opportunity to deliver info about their event, in order to be listed
in the K-pasa agenda. No additional cost is attached to this service. Companies can
advertise at very low rates and in flexible sizes. K-pasa makes it possible to put your
company or event on the map.
K-pasa is distributed every Wednesday with a circulation of 10.000 copies, to 325
locations around the island and can be found in our specially designed K-pasa displays
at the locations. You cannot miss it!
Since 1997, the K-pasa was published using duotone colors. Starting from January 1st
2012 K-pasa is published in full color, satisfying the demands of the market. Your
company can stand out by advertising in K-pasa.
Advertising rates will get more attractive when you sign up for a longer period or
advertise bigger. The longer you sign up for and the bigger your advertisement, the
higher the discount, the lower the advertising rate. Below we show you an overview of
advertising sizes and rates.
Please be aware that you have the possibility to change your ad every week free of
charge and therefore we have to work with strict deadlines to get the K-pasa out every
week in time.
Reserve your spot for the week after (if available): before Wednesday 12 o’clock noon.
Delivery of advertising materials: beforeThursday 12 o’clock noon.
Delivery of free information: before Thursday 12 o’clock noon.
Final approval of your advertisement: before Friday 11 o’clock in the morning.

Advertising charges include production and lay-out of your advertisement.
Prices exclude 6% (OB) tax charges.
Starting from 12 placements or more, 5% extra discount is applicable,
if paid in advance.
K-pasa Curaçao reserves the right to refuse advertisements.
K-pasa Curaçao will supply a digital proof of your advertisement unless
advertiser supplies a complete digital advertisement in the right (file) format.
Invoices are issued every last Thursday of the month. The invoice will include all your
advertisement placements in that past month. Payment is due within 7 days.

Delivery of advertisement materials
How to deliver your advertisement materials:
Photographs and images
The use of photographs is possible. Use of high resolution photos give the best result.
Pictures from magazines, brochures etc. contain screen and such pictures can only be used if they are at least
250% larger than the size in which they should appear in the advertisement.
Drawings, illustrations and brand names
Illustrations must be well-defined (no sketches, unless they should be used as such).
You can provide a sketch of how you wish to have your advertisement designed, or you can provide a previous
designed advertisement as an example.
Delivery of digital material or advertisements
Advertisement with all typefaces and illustrations included (fonts to be converted to outlines).
Design the advertisement according exact measurements, with a minimum resolution of 300 PPI.
Materials can be delivered to us by mail, cd or dvd.
We use the following software, and lower versions:
