I can't tell you how much fun we had in Mem phis with Kylie! I think she had fun too! She enjoyed having new faces there to play with and talk to! Nanny is back out with her now, so she's got her Mommy, Daddy, Nanny, Grandma, and Mamaw out there to take care of her! I have to report some good things that happened while we were out visiting... 1. Kylie wasn't walking very well when we first got there. Her feet were still a little sore from all the IVs, plus she was just weak from being in the hospital for a few weeks. I can tell you that when we left last night she was practically RUN NING around the room. She still has her moments when you're afraid she's going to lose her balance, but all in all she is walking a lot better than she was! 2. She's still not eating very much. She ate a little bit of biscuit Saturday morning... and other than that she dipped some french fries in butter and that's it! Let's continue to pray her about eating... she needs all the calories she can get right now! : 3. I have to take time to than everyone who has sent out presents to sassy. Trust me, she is enjoying every thing! Being away from home is hard on them all, but with the toys and gifts Kylie feels a little more at home in Memphis! Thank you for helping her feel a little more comfortable! Tomorrow is the BIG day! She goes in at 7 a.m. central time to have her chemo port placed. She will then be admitted at 2 pm to begin her 24 hour chemotherapy treatment. Nikki has a 28 day schedule already on what will be hap pening... if all goes as planned Kylie will be in the hospital for 5 or 6 days this first time. Those of you who have been praying for Kylie will you join me in praying for her around 2 pm cst tomorrow. We still don't know what to expect from these treatments, and it is our prayer that they will be easy for her little body! Our whole family thanks every one in advance for the prayers that will be going up! We will flood Heaven with prayers for our sweet Kylie Grace!! One more note and then I'll go. Tonight Kylie brought a brush to her Mommy and said "Mommy, brush my hair." I know that she just doesn't under stand, but will you please keep Nikki in your prayers. There were two indi viduals that Wall charged with underage drinking at the Ballplay party, Patrick J. Ayers, 19, of Watson Trace, Madisonville and Warren Luke Denton, 19, of Englewood. Wall said Ayers told him that he bought two 18can packs of beer that he brought to the party and had con sumed some of the beer, and Denton confessed he purchased a case of beer, ferried it to the party, and drank five of the beers out of the case. Sheriff’s Captain Steve Ogle said he charged Ed ward George Gilby, 37, of Grant Street, Sweetwater with public intoxication on January 14, after watch ing Gilby walking on Sands Road near Noel Road around thirty min utes before midnight. Gilby said he had been put to walking after he and his girlfriend argued and he got out of her car to stop further disagreement. Ogle said Gilby had snow on this clothes. Gilby told Ogle he fell in a ditch. Gilby said he had been drinking mixed drinks, and Ogle said Gilby then could not perform, or even pass, sobriety testing. He was very unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech, Ogle said of Gilby. I could smell the strong odor of an alcoholic bever age on his breath and per son, Ogle said in his arrest warrant. Gilby told Ogle he was “very cold” and lived “miles away” in Sweetwater. Ogle took Gilby to jail, he said. On Sunday, Madis onville Police Sergeant Daniel Dockery said he charged Michael Cameron Dawson, 20, of Azelea Street, Sweetwater with public intoxication. Dockery said he located Dawson in the parking lot of the Old Saybrook Apartments on Isbill Road.
