KEY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
Dawson installed hat channel for siding and flashing for library windows and entry curtain wall.
Inside, Dawson finished plywood on CTE walls, fabricated and installed mat hoist steel, prepped
Gym floor for volleyball and badminton post sleeves, plus miscellaneous layout, backing and
rough carpentry. Megawatt finished ceiling rough-in for Gym, CTE and bathrooms, continued
work on main panels in Electrical room, and pulled control wire to VAVs; subcontractor
(Integrity) started installing J-hooks and pulling string for cable at classroom side. Mantech
continued work on heat mains in Boiler room, installed zone valves for radiant heat units, and
tested piping to VAVs. H&H Sheetmetal finished installing exhaust ducts and duct for air handling
units. All Wall continued hanging sheetrock on exterior and interior walls at northwest, various
ceilings and soffits, installed sound insulation and caulking; continued taping joints in the gym,
west side elsewhere as available, and started masking, priming and painting frames and walls at
admin area and the gym. Chinook finished sprinkler heads, tested with air and water, fixed leaks
and departed. Alaska Glazing installed windows at CTE and Wet Flex, prepped, framed and
glazed the Library windows and started prepping the curtain wall at main entry.
Masking and painting started with hollow metal frame for Reception area. Main entry vestibule partially visible at right.

Masking painted window frames before priming walls
Plywood backing for art at entry to Library and 7th-8th area
Kitchen sheetrocked; walk-in cooler/freezer beyond wall
Exhaust duct from Kitchen range to hood on outside wall
Sound insulation from operable wall track (at bottom) to
metal deck, and electrical panels for operable wall motor
Wall (at left) after sheetrock is cut around penetrations,
hung, and taped. Top of wall will be sound caulked.
