Final Playoff Spots Today

MSBL / MABL is happy to announce that
the Welcome Bar-B-Que for all players
will be hosted by the Hooters Girls, who
will be serving up steak dinners to all of
the players for the first time.
Also on hand Friday afternoon will be
several Trade Show exhibitors with many
outstanding baseball products and the
latest equipment, including wood bats,
batting and fielders gloves, apparel and a
massage table.
The Hooters Girls will be handing out
discount coupons valid at any Hooters
area restaurants. You won’t want to miss
this one. It’s going to be a great evening!

25+ Wood Bat Teams Start Play Today - 50+ / 60+ Pool Play Wraps Up
MABL Divisions Double Up For The Next Two Days With Four Games

As the 25+ Wood Bat Divisions begin play, the 50+ and 60+ Wood Bat Divisions complete
their pool play round. Several teams remain in the hunt and with a win today will advance to
the playoff round. After a team’s win / loss record, runs allowed is the next tie breaker. Every
year this category plays a huge role in determining which teams advance. It’s important to
make sure that your teams record (and runs allowed) are correct both on-line and in the Daily
Newsletter. If they are not, please call the office and explain the discrepancy. The 50+ / 60+
playoffs begin on Friday. The championship games will be played on Saturday.
The MABL pool play round continues today, with most teams playing double headers over
the next 48 hours. Playoffs for both the MABL and the 25+ Wood Bat Divisions begin on
Saturday. The championship games will be on Sunday.
Friday night the MSBL / MABL hosts the Welcome Bar-B-Que at Tempe Diablo Stadium.
In past years the dinner menu has included, hamburgers, hotdogs and chicken. This year the
dinner menu includes steak. And in addition to that, the Hooters Girls will be serving the
meals along with passing out coupons and other give-a-ways. Several Trade Show venders
will be setting up their tables and will be on hand Friday at Tempe Diablo Stadium.
