most traded commodities. The market for Specialty Coffee
consumption is growing at a rate of 15% a year.
Within the USA, 62% of over 18’s consume over 3 cups
per day on average and 77% of all adults consumed
some type of coffee beverage in the last year.
In the next couple of years, total global coffee production will
reach 9 million tons.
That’s a lot of cappuccinos!!
OUR STORY...
Coffee Planet is a real-life example of what can be achieved
with a bit of discontent with the way things are. Proving there
is always a better way of doing, saying or supplying something.
We love coffee...
...the taste, the occasion and the ritual. We were tired,
however, of having to try and enjoy our coffee in a totally
middle-aged and traditional coffee shop environment. Well
if you don’t like something, change it. And that is exactly
what we did. We went right back to the beginning, back to the
source - we found out who was growing what and how we
could create the awesome blends you enjoy today. We built our
own roastery and after trying every conceivable combination
for what seemed an eternity, one day we did it - we hit flavour!
It felt like we had struck oil. We had the formula.
Now we could really go for it. It was incredibly exciting we started exploring new ways to reach our consumers.

You name an environment and we are in it – at home, in work,
at a gas station convenience store, in our own stores at lunchtime. You’ll even find our coffee in hotels and restaurants.

way that is easy and convenient for our customers. We have
become a true ‘crop to cup’ coffee company and we’re proud

Scientists have said for years that mankind needs to be busy
looking for another planet...well here it is! Coffee Planet.

people, all stopping for refreshment. Perfect! They could
grab one while filling up. Genius! Out of this thinking came
our fresh milk coffee machine. A technological wonder. And
thus, perfect gourmet coffee is now available in fuel stations
throughout the land because we dared to be different.
And we’re continually working on new ways to bring coffee joy

The café of the future – a revolutionary design and new ethos towards coffee retailing. We take our guests on a caffeinated journey into our world in which not every café has to look and feel
the same. Providing a new experience with each visit whether it
is the subtle alterations in the hues of the lighting or the music
reflecting the pace of the day as it goes on.
Not got the space for a Café or need something a bit more
mobile? The Coffee Planet Kiosk is the perfect fit with a reduced
offering from the Café but still a wide range catering to all.
If you don’t have space for even a Coffee Planet Cart, you can
place a Coffee Planet Express – its just like a ‘coffee shop in a
box’. Well not quite a whole coffee shop but it brings an integrated solution for Espresso-based hot coffees with fresh ground
beans and fresh steamed milk in just 1m2 of space.
Our wide range of stunning coffees –both hot & chilled – (and
other stuff for the non-coffee folk) supported by a delicious
selection of fresh and tasty food is usually the talk of the town!
Our recipe bank is ever growing to ensure that our franchisees
are able to keep their Coffee Planet guests keen with regular
new items.
The Coffee Planet Café is available in formats ideal for shopping
malls, high streets and residential communities as well as with
an optional drive-thru.
Whether an airport concourse or a metro station, the Coffee
Planet kiosk is there to serve those in coffee-need. Ergonomically designed by our creative team, this model has been developed
to utilize all available space to maximize output from a smaller

Measuring a footprint of just 4m2, we have mastered the art of
delivering a great selection of hot & cold drinks and food from a
fully integrated mobile cart.
Not only is the water supply and drainage built in, there is a
range of integrated equipment as well as space to store more
cups because trust us, you will need them!
High foot-traffic locations are suited with the ability to serve from
all four sides to maximize sales opportunities; the Coffee Planet
Cart is an ideal solution.
Customers can grab a cup from the built-in cup dispenser and
enjoy a creamy Cappuccino or a luscious Latte, served in less
than 60 seconds by using state of the art technology. And not to
forget our fantastic fresh roasted Coffee Planet beans.
Maximize revenues from a small footprint with everything the
consumer needs to serve their perfect coffee in convenience
stores, retail stores, super markets and grocery stores.
If you want to leave the Express to fend for itself, we have an
optional added vending system allowing customers to pay with

How long does it take from signing of the Franchise Agreement?
We would expect to have helped you open your first site location (flagship café) within
6 months. This covers all training time, site selection process and development.
How much money will I make?
Coffee Planet will provide you the tools and support structures that you need to be successful.
It is up to you to use them to create your success.
Will you help me out financially?
No, though we will help you as best we can with regards to finance decisions and provide you with analytical business models.
Can I have more than one outlet?
Definitely! We would only look to pursue potential Franchisees who are capable of meeting the minimum
requirement of opening at least 5 stores in a chosen territory (subject to territory size) within year 1.

Which territories are available?
We’re expanding rapidly so let us know your preferred territory and we will tell you if it is available.
How much capital do I need?
This depends on the Franchise formats you are interested in. We do insist on a minimum amount for initial investment
and a minimum amount for future expansion which is not dependant on the return of the initial investment capital.
How much experience do I need?
We will prefer you to have a proven business track record of success and a history in retail is advantageous
but not a necessity. We will provide all of the training and support you will need to guide you to success.
Will I be able to sell my franchise in the future?
Yes, though we will have to approve the person buying the Franchise and there will be associated fees for the application process
and training. We will also hold the right to match the highest offer you have received in order to buy the Franchise back from you.
Will I have to work full time in Coffee Planet?
An owner-operator arrangement is preferable for us but providing you can instil this
ethos into your management then this should not be a problem.
Providing you are able to meet requirements for multiple territories, then of course,
though each multiple territory application shall be judged on its merit.
