Vonnavilla News The memory boxes painted by Church Members in April, were in the cabinet for the month of May. Everyone from the church enjoyed seeing their work. Eliza Wong is displaying her artwork during the month of June. She has a very interesting reversed painting on glass of a red flower. It would be fun to do, if she would be willing to teach it. Thank You, Eliza. Fran Price will be showing her artwork in July & August. Wendy Willihnganz for Sept/Oct. I hope some of you will consider putting your artwork in the cabinet. Be sure to check them out. Vonna This n That- Editor In a few years(2016) it will be Valley’s turn to host the Michigan Mixer. We need to be thinking along that line. What theme idea, decorations, chairs, classes, events etc. We will need everyone to help out for the fun annual day for Michigan Painters. All suggestions Welcomed. Come November it will once again be time for our Elections. We need to be changing these & bring in new members to help. Most jobs are not that hard to do & some could do as co-chairs. We have a great, hard working Chapter going &need to continue our good work. Please consider lending your time to help with our Chapter. If everyone just helped out some think how grand we could be! Thanks everyone for the work you have done this year. We really appreciate your support. We have a great group of Ladies! We hope you will consider staying with SDP for 2016. It is important to support this group for what they have done for us, & will for our future. Many teachers, vendors, magazines etc are no longer in business. This makes it hard for us to continue painting at the level we expect to find sources for. If you pay your SDP dues before Dec lst you will not be paying an additional fee. Valley dues will be due Dec lst also. Motions recently passed by VT Board of Directors .. 2015 HOPE Church Rental Chapter will continue to (donate) pay for use of room at church as is, so they can use as needed. (Note: as of June 1, church no longer charges for room rental). October Special Raffle Chapter shall pay up to $10 to artist, with receipt, to help defray cost of birdhouse painted for special raffle.
