TASTE OF BURGUNDY AT SMITH’S WINES
E
xpanding renewable technology provider Low Carbon Exchange (LCX),
celebrated the opening of its new offices in Weston-super-Mare with an official
ribbon cutting ceremony attended by the
mayor, Councillor Raymond Armstrong and
Miss Eco/Miss Bristol 2015.
The opening was followed by a drinks
reception for clients, suppliers and associates.
Established in 2010 by Kevin Childs and
Andrew Milne, the company was set up to
initially deliver solar PV installation projects for a number of social housing providers and public body organisations.
As the business expanded, LCX has increased its services to include repairs,
maintenance and servicing of renewable
technologies, external wall insulation and
resident engagement on energy saving
measures, supporting their clients’ vision of
reducing fuel poverty.

wines from the Burgundy region courtesy of Julie Simard from
the Henri de Villamont vineyard.
The boutique wine store, Smith’s Wines, located on Magdalen

provided by Jim and Lucy Fisher from Exeter Cookery School, an
exciting new venture due to open on Exeter’s historic Quayside later
this year.
