The opening was followed by a drinks reception for clients, suppliers and associates. Established in 2010 by Kevin Childs and Andrew Milne, the company was set up to initially deliver solar PV installation projects for a number of social housing providers and public body organisations. As the business expanded, LCX has increased its services to include repairs, maintenance and servicing of renewable technologies, external wall insulation and resident engagement on energy saving measures, supporting their clients’ vision of reducing fuel poverty. The boutique wine store, Smith’s Wines, located on Magdalen Road, Exeter, created an intimate setting while canapes were provided by Jim and Lucy Fisher from Exeter Cookery School, an exciting new venture due to open on Exeter’s historic Quayside later this year.
