Hoop with a piece of Quilt Magic Plus
4.
Lay first piece of fabric right side up
over the triangle stitched in color 2.
7.
Place the orange triangle over the
yellow triangle, right sides together.
10. Stitch color 6. This is the placement for
the next piece of fabric.

Stitch color 1. This is the foundation
layout.
5.
Stitch color 3.
8.
Stitch color number 5. This seams the
two triangles together. Trim back to a ¼
inch seam with scissors.
11. Place one of the red triangles over the
line just stitched, right sides together.
6.
Stitch color 4. This is the BLUE line
down the center of the block. This the
placement stitch for our next piece of
fabric.
9.
Flip the orange triangle over and press
with mini iron.

Stitch color 2. This shows the placement
for the first piece of fabric. This is the
RED triangle on the center bottom.

13. Trim back to a ¼ inch seam.
16. Place second red triangle over the line
just stitched, right sides together.
14. Flip open and press with mini iron
19. Flip open and press with mini iron.
22. Stitch color 10.
20. Stitch color 9.
23. Trim back to a ¼ seam.
21. Place third triangle over the line just
stitched, right sides together.
24. Flip open and press with mini iron.
17. Stitch color 8.
15. Stitch color 7. This is the placement for
the next piece of fabric.
18. Trim back to a ¼ inch seam.

25. Stitch color 11.
28. Trim back to a ¼ seam.
26. Place the forth triangle over the line just
sewn, right sides together.
29. Flip open and press with mini iron.
31. Place backing fabric over the back and
secure with strips of Dissolve Magic
Sticky.
32. Put hoop back into machine and place a
piece of Heat Magic over the top of the
block in the hoop.
27. Stitch color 12.
30. Take hoop out of the machine, not the
fabric out of the hoop and turn upside
down.
34. Tearaway the Heat Magic from the top
of the hoop.
35. Front of block after Heat Magic is
removed.
36. Back of block after stitching color 13.
33. Stitch color 13. This is a square that
fixes the backing fabric to the block.

37. Stitch color 14. This quilts the block in
the hoop.
40. Quilted and pieced block cut to size.
38. Back of block after it is quilted in the
hoop.
41. Bind block with ¼ binding and your
block is finished!.
Now you have learnt Jenny’s Piece de Resistance technique you
can make the beautiful Piece de Resistance Quilt. All pieced and
quilted in the hoop.
39. Remove from the hoop. Using a rotary
cutter and quilting ruler cut around the
square that was stitched in color 13.
