Delaware County Community College Transfer Office 2t08 1 1/2015 Psychology Added TRANSFER AGREEMENT IMMACULATA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF LIFELONG LEARNING and DELAWARE COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE Immaculata University's College of Lifelong Learning (CLL) welcomes students from Delaware County Community College (DCCC) into our community of learners. This agreement is designed to facilitate DCCC students' ease of transfer into an accelerated bachelor's degree completion program offered in the classroom on and off-campus or online. PRINCIPLES OF AGREEMENT Immaculata University's College of Lifelong Learning (CLL) and Delaware County Community College (DCCC) confirm the following points of agreement, to assure equal treatment of university/college and transfer students. L This agreement shall apply to students who have taken courses towards or have completed an Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.) or Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree at DCCC. 2. Program requirements for a baccalaureate degree shall be the responsibility of Immaculata University and are listed in the separate Transfer Guideline sheets that follow this agreement. 3. Students who follow the prescribed Immaculata University baccalaureate degree requirements at DCCC and have earned an Associate degree at DCCC with a minimum GPA of 2.0 are assured admission to Immaculata University, CLL with a junior level standing. 4. All 5. The maximum number of credits accepted from DCCC is 72 credit hours. 6. An interview with a College of Lifelong Learning counselor is encouraged. DCCC students may request a transcript evaluation prior to submitting an application. 7 . course transfers must be completed with a grade of "C" (2.00 on a 4.00 scale) or better. Students must submit an official DCCC transcript for transcript evaluation. The attachments submitted herewith outline the ACCEL@ and Online Programs offered by the College of Lifelong Learning and include the following majors: . . . . . . of Arts in Financial Management (classroom or online) of Arts in Health Care Management (classroom or online) of Arts in Human Performance Management (classroom or online) of Arts in lnformation Technology (classroom) Bachelor of Arts in Organization Dynamics (classroom or online) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (classroom) (RN/BSN) Bachelor Bachelor Bachelor Bachelor While the online programs are accessible from anywhere, classroom programs are offered at various locations throughout the Delaware Valley. 8. In addition to the majors listed in #7 above, DCCC students may transfer into Immaculata's College of Life Long Learning semester-based day and evening programs on the main campus and earn a bachelor's degree in one of 26 distinct concentrations offered by the University's various departments. Immaculata University's undergraduate catalogue provides specific information on each of tliese majors. 9. 10. No time limit (years) shall be placed on the acceptance of credits transferable from DCCC to Immaculata University. There may be exceptions in the transfer of courses takel in technology and the sciences. Please contact aCLL counselor sliould you have any questions regarding the transferability ofsuch courses' DCCC students will be given the same considerations and privileges as all Immacu-lata University students of e[ual class standing when applying for financial aid and in the to award and distribution oifunds; campus housing; registration for classes; and access other student services. 11. t2. 13. An informal review of programs will occur every two years for the purpose of updating information for studenti and staff. The review will be initiated by Immaculata University. This agreement will automatically renew unless personnel from DCCC and Immaculata University determine that a meeting is necessary to review and/or amend this agreement. Either institution may terminate this agreement at any time by written notice of at least one (1) year in advance of the effective date of termination. Should this agreement be terminated, it is understood that the termination will not apply to students already accepted by Immaculata University under the terms of this Agteement. Upon formal approval of this agreement, by the appropriate officials of the two institutions, joint advertisement and promotion will be developed by the appropriate representative at each institution.
