Welcome to Dale Moor
Welcome to Dale Moor View, a stylish collection of two and
three bedroom homes, located on the semi rural outskirts of
Rawtenstall, Lancashire. With both mews and semi-detached
properties available these gorgeous new homes are certain to
appeal to couples and families alike.
Built by award-winning house builder, Taylor Wimpey, Dale Moor
View is part of a prestigious development of contemporary
homes situated in the beautiful Rossendale Valley.
21 homes have been set aside specifically for Shared Ownership
sale. This is to offer local, working people who are currently
priced out of the market, a chance to step on the property ladder.
The homes are being sold through leading affordable homes
company, Plumlife.
Each of the homes features light and spacious rooms,
contemporary fitted kitchens complete with Zanussi stainless
steel ovens with gas hobs and extractors, eye-catching modern
bathrooms, front and back gardens with a shed and off-road,
allocated parking.
Homes will also benefit from superb eco-features, including new
energy efficient boilers and full double-glazing, making them
inexpensive to heat and maintain.
COUNTRY LIVING
Dale Moor View is ideally situated in the countryside outside Rawtenstall,
near the Rossendale Valley, close to essential daily amenities including two
24 hour supermarkets, several banks, a post office and a bustling local high
street offering a mixture of independent retailers including a butchers, bakers
and florists. Located close to a selection of excellent nurseries, primary
and secondary schools, the region is well connected to the M65 and M66
motorways.
Rossendale borders Greater Manchester and is situated 17 miles from the
city centre via the Edenfield by-pass and M66, with a journey time of around
30 minutes in a car. Alternatively the A56 route can be taken via Edenfield,
Walmersley, Bury, Whitefield, Prestwich and Broughton.
Rossendale Railway Station is operated by the East Lancashire Railway and
manned by volunteers. A service from Rawtenstall to Bury, via Ramsbottom
and Summerseat, runs regularly.
The area is well served by public transport, with bus services provided mainly
by Rossendale Transport and Burnley and Pendle. Regular services to Burnley,
Blackburn, Accrington, Bolton, Rochdale, Bury, Manchester and Rochdale as
well as Todmorden and other local destinations, leave from Rawtenstall.
The town has a rich musical history and there is a notable brass band tradition.
At the turn of the 19th century there were over 40 bands around Rossendale.
Known as the ‘valley of stone’, stone has shaped Rossendale. Many local
houses and walls are built from quarried Rossendale stone and the area has a
distinctive appearance. This style is reflected in the design of Dale Moor View
and all homes are made from pale, Rossendale stone. Also Rawtenstall Cricket
Club, who compete in the Lancashire League, are based in Worswick Memorial
Ground, within the town.
Dale Moor View is and ideal place to live to live for nature lovers and those
looking for a slower pace of life. Set in the stunning Lancashire scenery,
outdoors fans can enjoy walks along Rossendale Way. More active residents
can visit the Lee Quarry mountain biking centre and Ski Rossendale, the dry ski
slope, which offers skiing and snowboarding sessions for all ages and abilities.
Dale Moor View is an outstanding development with an enviable rural location,
scenic views and a superb choice of new homes.

Shared Ownership
This popular government-backed scheme allows you to buy a share of your
new home (usually from 35% - 75%) and pay a small rent on the remainder
you don’t own. You can increase your share as your circumstances change,
or even buy outright in the future. As with all home purchases, you’ll need to
have saved up for a deposit. For free, impartial advice on the best deals out
there for you, we can put you in touch with an independent financial adviser.
Who is the scheme for?
If you are in full time employment, live locally/have family connections to the
area and have a total income of up to £60,000 per annum, you may be eligible
to apply. You can apply online via the Plumlife website (www.plumlife.co.uk)
or call one of our sales team on: 0161 447 5050, who will be happy to run
through the eligibility criteria with you.
