As we say in our Irish language “Bhain gach duine taitneamh as an turas” (everyone enjoyed the trip). We had a very good time staying with our hosts. We made a lot of friends at the conference and we will keep in touch. The EU-ROOTS project gives teenagers the opportunità to meet and to understand different cultures in Europe. It also allows students to keep an online journal in which to share their culture and history. The meeting has been a great experience. This was a super week; we learnt a lot and we enjoyed ourselves! I want to go back For me, the meeting has been absolutely amazing. The only thing I regret is that we haven’t had much time to know each other better, but I am sure I won’t forget this experience so easily. In my opinion, it was a great opportunity to exchange with some of the European cultures, languages, food and even some slangs. These five days were stunning, and I won’t ever thank enough all the teachers, students who took part in the conference. These multilateral projects give you a lot of enjoyment and experience. Meeting different people enlarge your horizon and help to improve skills 13 EU-ROOTS LLP Project MEETING Imola 24th ÷ 28th April 2013 “…. “…..Personally I loved that experience and I think it was a great thing to be the hosting school because every Italian student was involved. We had a lot of fun and strong friendship was started. I had also the great opportunity to teach a swing choreography. It was so exciting to speak English every second of the day (I hosted a Norwegian girl). I already miss everyone but luckily new tech allows us to keep in touch.” “I have lived my time in Italy. I have made a lot of friends here and it was nice to put a face to a name after talking to them before the conference. I think the EURoots project is a great way to meet new friends and learn about many different youth cultures. I think the food in Italy is way better than any other Country food. I have had an amazing time taking part ion this project and it was a honor to represent my Country.” “I think that this project is very good for students. You get to know new people, you do new things and you speak a lot of English. It is also a good opportunity for students to go abroad. We had full days of activities. I enjoyed the “folk dance” workshop a lot with the four dances we learnt and the choreography we did. It was great fun and exhausting at the same time.” 14 EU-ROOTS LLP Project MEETING Imola 24th ÷ 28th April 2013 PARTICIPANTS in the meeting at Imola From Belgium: Demi Van Tolhuysen, Lena Mareels, Maya Govaerts and Kristien Dilen (students), Daisy Verheyden, Eva Dhaenens and Tom Mertens (teachers); From Czech Republic: Eliška Klimtová, Dominika Kopalová, Kristýna Ludvíková and Filip Pluhař (students), Ivona Coufalová and Dana Fenclová From Germany: Jennifer Gautzsch, Pui-Leng Lou, Anika Bihn and HannahMae Heinrichs (students), Michael Janßen (teacher) From Ireland: Jean Luc Tubritt, Stephen Creevy, Maggie Shalloe and Emily Browne (students), Amanda Butler and Katherine Curtis Jones (teachers) From The Netherlands: Yosha van Erven, Willem Eekels, Kiara van der Meer and Rachel van de Velden (students), Maud Vosselman and Yvon van Heugten (teachers) From Norway: Sindre Solberg, Emil Pladsen Røberg, Yalda Hashimi, Lene Tanksveen and Marcus Vasvven (students), Ole Aass, Raymond Aldo and Tore Lauvdal (teachers). 15 EU-ROOTS LLP Project MEETING Imola 24th ÷ 28th April 2013 From Italy: Montanari Lamberto (principal), Accetturi Vincenzina, Cavina Daniela, Franceschelli Anna, Iosa Isabella, Masi Paola, Sangiorgi Marinella, Sini Maria Grazia, Tamba Elizabeth, Tellarini Marco (teachers); Catalani Andrea, Innocenti Marta, Rinaldi Ceroni Alice (experts) Class 2^ D Ameri Selene, Bavota Sara, Bedeschi Edoardo, Belcastro Gianmarco, Belforti Rebecca, Bertozzi Giorgia, Bertuzzi Martina, Bozzi Federica, Fontana Patrik, GIrotto Marta, Landi Giorgia, Maiardi Sofia, Monti Sofia, Muvumbi Abril, Nanni Matilde, Ricchi Sofia, Roda Elisa, Sanguedolce Monica, Tommasoli Giulia, Tortorella Sara, Vannini Francesca. 16 EU-ROOTS LLP Project MEETING Imola 24th ÷ 28th April 2013 Class 2^ E Antonucci Sofia, Att Abdelma Merjem, Balzani GiuliaBonafede Andrea, Cacciari Davide, Cavazza Denise, Cavina Giulia, Cavina Lucia, Domenichini Matteo, Emiliani Camilla, Fornasari Nicola, Frudua Federica, Fusaro Martina, Gasparri Giorgio, Manara Valentina, Manzdini Miriana, Montroni Ilaria, Nappi Elide, Porojan Alexandru, Ridolfi Jessica, Scheda Emiliano, Sermasi Nicole, Strazzari Elisa, Tedesco Federica.
