LLP Project MEETING
Imola 24th ÷ 28th April 2013
The Plan of the project
Students from the seven partner schools have worked on
 Personal presentation
 Presentation of their Country, Region, town, school;
 Research on own history, important people, language and
tradition (about Christmas, folk dances, cooking)
 Some language activities
 Artistic and creative work on other Countries’ history
The students experienced the peer-to-peer teaching learning
process and were active participants in the project filling up the
files of the website of the project. They also contributed to the
evaluation of the project.
For the school year 2012 – 2013 two main meetings were
organized: the first in Duisburg (Germany) 26th to 30th September
2012 and the second one in Imola 24th to 28th April 2013.
Delegations from the partner schools were of 2 to 3 teachers
and 3 to 5 students. Other face-to-face activities were organized
between partners: one day trip; bilateral visit etc……
The best result was the commitment of the students, their
responsible participation and cooperation, friendship which
helped to create an ideal atmosphere of understanding and
acceptance of the diversities in cultures.

What the students say ……….
As we say in our Irish language
“Bhain gach duine taitneamh as
an turas” (everyone enjoyed the
trip). We had a very good time
staying with our hosts. We made
a lot of friends at the conference
and we will keep in touch.
The EU-ROOTS project gives
teenagers the opportunità to
meet and to understand
different cultures in Europe. It
also allows students to keep
an online journal in which to
share their culture and history.
The meeting has been a great
experience.
This was a super week;
we learnt a lot and we
enjoyed ourselves! I
want to go back
For me, the meeting has been
absolutely amazing. The only thing
I regret is that we haven’t had
much time to know each other
better, but I am sure I won’t forget
this experience so easily. In my
opinion, it was a great opportunity
to exchange with some of the
European cultures, languages, food
and even some slangs. These five
days were stunning, and I won’t
ever thank enough all the teachers,
students who took part in the
conference.
These multilateral
projects give you a lot
of enjoyment and
experience. Meeting
different people enlarge
your horizon and help
to improve skills

“…. Io, da ragazza che ospitava una studentessa del Belgio, posso
dire che questa è stata una delle esperienze più entusiasmanti che
ho avuto la fortuna di vivere. Questo non vuol dire che sia stato
tutto facile, né per me né per gli altri miei amici che hanno ospitato
qualcuno. In primis perché le differenze culturali esistono, anche in
un mondo nel quale sembra che i confini tra le nazioni non esistano
più. In secondo luogo perché pur essendo ragazzi come noi, ognuno
“…..Personally I loved that experience and I think it was a
great thing to be the hosting school because every Italian
student was involved. We had a lot of fun and strong
friendship was started. I had also the great opportunity to
teach a swing choreography. It was so exciting to speak
English every second of the day (I hosted a Norwegian girl).
I already miss everyone but luckily new tech allows us to
keep in touch.”
“I have lived my time in Italy. I have made a lot of friends here and it was nice to
put a face to a name after talking to them before the conference. I think the EURoots project is a great way to meet new friends and learn about many different
youth cultures. I think the food in Italy is way better than any other Country food. I
have had an amazing time taking part ion this project and it was a honor to
represent my Country.”
“I think that this project is very good for students. You get to know new people,
you do new things and you speak a lot of English. It is also a good opportunity
for students to go abroad. We had full days of activities. I enjoyed the “folk
dance” workshop a lot with the four dances we learnt and the choreography
we did. It was great fun and exhausting at the same time.”
