About Institute of Management,
Nirma University
The world-class campus of Nirma University is located on SarkhejGandhinagar Highway about fifteen kilometers from the walled city of Ahmedabad. It is the outcome of the visionary leadership of one of the most
successful entrepreneurs of India, Padmashri Dr. Karsanbhai K. Patel, who
has created a business conglomerate known as Nirma Group. Institute of
Management is a constituent of Nirma University, which was set up in
1996 by Nirma Education and Research Foundation to promote excellence
in management education. The Institute has been consistently growing under the guidance of Shri Ambubhai Patel (Vice-President), Dr. Anup K.
Singh (Director General-Nirma University) and Dr. S. Garimella (Director
of the Institute of Management). The Institute has been undertaking a wide
range of educational and training related activities and series of national
and international conventions which have helped it emerge as one of the
premier business schools in the country within a short span of sixteen
years. Presently, it is rated as one of the top twenty five B-Schools in the
country. Its main stream programmes include MBA (Full-Time), MBA
(Family Business and Entrepreneurship), BBA – MBA (Five Year Integrated Programme) and Ph.D programme in Management (Regular and External). The Institute also offers Executive Diploma Programmes in various
functional areas of management. The Institute conducts need-based inhouse training programmes to meet the training needs of industry.

Call for Papers
We are pleased to invite the research scholars and academicians from different arenas
of management and allied disciplines to present their respective dissertation related work
in the form of a research paper at the Doctoral Conference. All the scholars who are
currently enrolled in any Full-time/Part-time
Fellow/PhD program in any discipline of
management are eligible to participate in
this event with their theoretically relevant
papers with an empirical focus
The doctoral work should be related to management aspects in
any of the following areas:
 Marketing,
 Finance and Accounting
 Economics,
 Organizational Behavior,
 Human Resource Management,
 Production and Operations Management,
 Quantitative Techniques,
 Strategic Management,
 Entrepreneurship,
 Insurance and Banking,
 Agriculture and Allied sectors
All participants attending the conference are required to
register for the conference. Participants whose papers
are selected for the publication shall be provided with the
sleeper class train fare (to and fro) in addition to the facilities provided to other participants.



The registration fee structure is as follows:

Abstract submission should include in a
separate page containing names of authors, affiliations, mailing addresses, email id and phone/fax numbers along with
the title of the paper and up to 3-4 key
words. Acceptance of the abstract shall
be notified within a week of the receipt
of the same along with the guidelines for
full paper submission. The deadline for
submission of full papers is January 30,
2015. Only electronic submission shall
be sent.

Guidelines for Paper
Submission
Abstract (not exceeding 500 words)
should be submitted by November 30,
2014. Only electronic submission in the
form of a word file as an e-mail attachment is required to be sent. The abstracts
should be mailed to the Conference Conveners at [email protected].

The registration fee includes admission to all technical
sessions, meals (for the days of the conference, including the welcome and reception dinner), conference kit
and other social events. The participants are welcome
to bring guests, the registration fee of Rs. 1500/- shall
be charged.
On campus, the accommodation charges would be INR
2,000/- on single occupancy (AC Rooms) and INR.
1,000/- per person per day on twin sharing basis.

Charges for accommodation will be on actual basis.
Kindly confirm your bookings for in campus accommodation before 15th March 2015.

Payment should be made through demand draft to
be drawn in favor of 'Institute of Management,
Nirma University' payable at Ahmedabad.

Second sleeper class to and fro traveling allowance
will also be provided.
