By Road - Leave the M602 at Junction 3. Take the Trafford Road exit from the roundabout at
the end of the motorway. From Trafford Road turn onto Broadway, signposted for the Lowry
Centre. At the first roundabout bear right (Broadway). Then take the first left into Ohio Avenue.
The car park entrance is on the right about 50 yards before the end of the road. (Note, the car
park door at the end of the road is the exit).

By Public Transport - A Park & Ride Bus Service operates every 7–8 minutes to Reading
railway station and town centre.
From the M4 - Take junction 11 for Reading. Follow the A33 towards Reading Town Centre.
The Madejski football stadium will be on your left. Go straight across the first and second
roundabouts, and past B&Q on your left. At the third roundabout, take the second left onto

payslips online through the Self Service portal, as well as P60 information.

Pay & People HR and Payroll
Ceridian Pay & People is a flexible package of technology and services designed specifically
for businesses with less than 500 employees. You can tailor the technology and service
elements to meet your exact needs and make world class HR & payroll efficiencies a reality for
your business. Whether you take direct responsibility for HR and payroll or have a team to help
you, Ceridian Pay & People can free up your time, enabling you to focus fully on the core
business.
The services are brought together using the Pay & People Portal, a technology umbrella which
allows the management and coordination of the other services, where appropriate. The

technology portal is also a fully functional HR system facilitating all of the employer and
employee HR services commonly required. It acts as both an employee database and also a
hub for workflow and communications between the various functional modules and employees.
Together, these services can be combined to provide whatever specific set of support is
needed by the customer.
Pay & People Access from Everywhere
Everyone in a company can play their part in keeping your business running smoothly, with
employees responsible for inputting their own holiday requests, sickness information and
personal data. Managers can then record warnings, grievances, suspensions and probation
periods. Automatic alerts can be set to remind them of key dates and actions. They can also
view holiday and sickness patterns and check payments made.
Ceridian Online Reporting (COR)
Ceridian Online Reporting (COR) is used for reporting on UK payroll and is a standard offering
for new customers and re-signs, rather than traditional paper reporting. This is a major change
for our industry, improving competitive advantage of our payroll solutions, offering a faster and
better service to our customers. COR is part of HRevolution and was the first application
launched under the new Customer Applications Portal.
Online Payroll Documents (OPD)
Online Payroll Documents (OPD) is part of the HRevolution Portal accessed through the same
log-on as Ceridian Online Reporting. Online Payroll Documents enable a payroll customer to
deliver things like payslips and P60’s to their employees over the Internet.
There is an interactive element to the system, where helpful descriptions of payslip items can
be viewed by hovering the cursor over them. Pay history will also be available from the
beginning of the tax year and navigation between current and archived pay slips has never
been easier.
The system also has self-registration, where employees answer a range of security questions
to sign-up for the service or to reset forgotten passwords. This takes away the workload from
the payroll/HR department.

Source is a fully integrated HR and Payroll tool for managing your company’s relationship with
its employees and administering your employment responsibilities.
Source is tailored to meet the needs of all companies – whether you require an HR (Human
Resource) package to manage personnel and organisation demands, or a system to meet your
payroll needs.
You can manage the entire range of employment data, from hiring or terminating an employee
to entering temporary payroll data. Because Source integrates data, you save time and
improve reporting accuracy by entering data once for all functions to share.
Source’s modular structure means that a payroll clerk doesn’t need to know everything about
the HR business procedures of Source, and an HR administrator doesn’t need to fully
understand payroll issues. In addition, comprehensive security lets you control exactly what
each staff member can see and do in Source. The modular design also lets you progressively
licence additional Source functions as your needs grow.
Ceridian Payroll Solution 1
Ceridian Payroll Solution 1 (CPS1) is a Microsoft Windows based product, features include,
basic back pay and flexible payroll options. Ceridian Payroll Solution 1 also has in-built simple
to use but powerful reporting, exporting and importing capabilities.

Training Day Format at Ceridian Site
•
Delegates arrive from 9am in the Ceridian office for tea and coffee
•
Courses are scheduled from 9.30am until 4.30pm (unless stated otherwise by the trainer or
administration)
•
The trainer reserves the right to refuse admission to the course once it has commenced
should this admission cause disruption
•
Coffee breaks are scheduled at mid morning and mid afternoon, according to the trainers
instructions
•
Lunch is provided for delegates at the Ceridian office
•
The trainer will provide all course materials
•
The classroom facilities will provide the use of a computer per delegate and one shared
centre slave monitor
•
All delegates are required to remain for the full duration of the training session. If a
delegates should need to be excused, this must be discussed directly with the trainer, who
will make a judgement as to whether to excuse the delegate
•
The trainer reserves the right to remove a delegate from the course if they are disruptive
•
Delegates should not use laptops or mobile phones without prior consent of the trainer. If a
delegate uses their laptop or mobile phone during the training session without prior
consent, the trainer reserves the right to remove the delegate from the training session
•
The trainer will be available at the end of the session to assist with any questions delegates
may have
•
The delegate will have the opportunity to fill out an appraisal form at the end of the session
