Hard copies are also available at the Phinney Center Blue Building office. Sign Up For PNA Summer Camps Experience a summer of fun, hands-on education and adventure! We offer school age (5-12 years old) and preschool (3-5 years old) summer camps from June to August. More info: phinneycenter.org/pnakids. PCPE Updates & Enrollment Info On behalf of the Phinney Spanish Language Preschool Co-op (PCPE) we would like to thank the extraordinary band Los Cumbieros and Los Agaves Restaurant for donating their time and money to our fiesta. It was a huge success! PCPE is still accepting applications for the 2013-14 school year for the following classes: Greenwood Senior Center 525 N 85th St, Seattle 206.297.0875 • 1-2 year olds: Fridays from 9:30-11:30 am • 2.5-3.5 year olds: Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 am Please contact PCPE to schedule a tour or request your preschool enrollment packet at 206.783.2244, Ext. 63 or [email protected]. Ballard Preschool Co-op Openings Ballard Preschool Co-op has openings in the 3-5s class for the 2013-2014 school year! Class is Tues/Wed/Thurs from 12:153:15 pm, plus Fridays from 12:15-3:15 pm for the pre-K kids. The co-op aims to provide a structured cooperative program designed to encourage the social, emotional, physical, and mental development of young children. PNA Village Needs Volunteers Now in its second year of providing volunteer services and preferred vendor referrals, the PNA Village has witnessed a significant increase in service requests. Last year, members made a total of 3 requests in April and 5 requests in May. This year, members have made a total of 32 requests in April and 41 requests in May. More requests means a need for more volunteers! PNA Village’s most popular member requests are minor home repairs and maintenance, rides to appointments and errands in the Seattle area, and seasonal yard work. PNA Village volunteers also provide light housekeeping, senior companionship to members, committee support and office support. To volunteer, please contact us at [email protected] or 206.789.1217.
