Timeless evolution can be appreciated, whether one contemplates the large specimen cabbage palms or the small Venus fly traps. This display, a ‘work in progress’, is being created to demonstrate a subtropical environment in which orchids continue to evolve. As this display matures, a population of orchids will be established here. These orchids will be acclimated to winter night temperatures in the mid-thirties (F.) 8 5 21 25 8 9 2 15 4 15 9 19 25 24 9 17 2 17 14 25 9 11 24 12 3 19 4 23 19 19 14 2 4 1 4 12 23 Canopy Trees 21 16 10 21 To Tropical Orchid Display 16 10 10 10 1.
