Case Study: Mortimers Estate Agents Migration to the cloud gives an improved customer experience The Challenge Mortimers have five offices across East Lancashire and were looking to embrace modern unified communications to help improve their competitive edge in the Estate Agent industry. Historically, each branch operated their IT and telecoms infrastructure autonomously. One Company The Solution Denwa surveyed their sites and identified that an intelligent Mitel MiVoice Office hybrid-cloud solution was the way forward for Mortimers - largely because their lettings software was not cloud-based, and fibre broadband was not yet available at all sites. In addition, a new multi-site estate agent software system ‘VebraLive’ needed to be integrated, and new cloud based phone technology was to be deployed. All technology was unified into a single phone and IT platform, enabling all sites to collaborate with each other much more seamlessly. Unified communications produced a seamless operation One Cloud. One Comp Communications connectivity The solution provided was cloud-enabled, which meant that all sites became joined-up and connected with each other. Calls now flow smoothly between branches over the internet, which in turn improves responsiveness, and combined with free calls to UK landlines and mobiles, significant savings can really be noticed. Software uplift To get ahead of the competition and to be able to offer staff the latest lettings software allowing them to work more effectively - Denwa integrated the industry standard VebraLive, with the hybrid-cloud solution that they had designed for them. As a result, Mortimers can now have live access to one central database - with all their data, ondemand, at any time, from any location. In addition to the uplift, all updates and ongoing maintenance now costs less, and can be implemented with ease and minimal disruption. “ Increased resiliency and agility Utilising SIP trunking technology (Cloud-based phone lines) and superfast broadband, are the key ingredients for a resilient design. Now that the company operates on a single ICT platform, new users and offices can be added with ease.
