MINISTRY NEWS
TODAY January 10
SERMON: Paul ends his comprehensive presentation of the Gospel (Romans 1-11)
with an extended call to worship (Romans 12-15). During the month of January we will
be preaching that call to worship both to hear it and to answer it. We began last week
with the opening verses to set the general direction as to the “what” and the “how” of
Christian worship. Today we begin to break those general directions down into specific
applications. Pastor Larry will be preaching today’s text: Romans 12:3-21.

extended ministries
H
eartReach Center is one of our WBC Extended Ministries
partners. Please be aware and be praying for the Abortion
Recovery class to be offered this month beginning January
15th. HeartReach Center always seeks to work confidentially
while leading people Godward in their quest to heal. Another
opportunity to serve is in helping HeartReach train their new
Nurse Manager. Catch is: you must be pregnant, as she is learning the Ultrasound. Half
hour slots are available on the 12th, 13th, 15th, and 16th of January. Ideally, they would
like women who are 7-24 weeks along, but they will take as high as 32 weeks. What a
unique opportunity to serve… Let’s keep HeartReach Center in our prayers this year.
