Hosanna Home Testimony
My name is Anna Owens and I am 26 years old. I
was raised in a Christian family and was taught that intimacy was something to wait on until marriage. For 25 years I
waited and held myself to the promise I had made to God and
to myself. In April 2013, I met my now ex-husband at work.
We started dating and fooling around in ways that only a
husband and wife should. Basically we were in sexual sin.
Three days before we were married, in October 2013, I gave
myself completely away to him. All of this may seem like
it isn’t that big of a deal. After all we did the “right” thing
by getting married….right? But, the truth of the matter is;
God was never in the midst of our union, nor were any of my
family members. To make matters worse, the man I married
was 30 years older than me. To some that may seem like a
small thing (after all age is just a number and Hollywood actors do stuff like this all the time), but I didn’t do what I did
for publicity, nor for money. I did what I did out of shame
and rebellion and was hoping to find an easy way out of life’s
responsibilities. I couldn’t hold down a job but yet I didn’t
want to live under the thumb of my parents either. Through
all of this, I lost a great deal of my faith in God because sin
separates us from God. Seven months later I divorced my
husband and came to Hosanna Home 2 weeks after that.
Since coming to Hosanna Home I have reclaimed my faith
and have gained a sense of self worth. God has shown me
how rewarding a day’s work can be if done unto the Lord. I
am so grateful for all the work God has began in me and look
forward to seeing him complete it.
— Anna, Hosanna Home Resident
Anna is truly a “New Creation” in Christ. She has a job
and will be attending college this
fall. She even looks different
with a beautiful smile and glow
about her.
And you thought Hosanna
Home ONLY worked with drug
addicts and alcoholics.

His Place Testimony
My name is Charles and I am from Atlanta. I was raised in a
Christian home, however my walk with Christ deteriorated
as my health issues grew. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in Sixth grade and had multitude surgeries before graduating high school.
This is where my drug problem began. I began college under
house arrest and despite graduating with honors, I was unable to find a good job due to the fact that I had two felonies.
I began to search other religions and drugs for happiness.
This led to me becoming self-reliant and not being reliant
on God. Thanks to His Place and Harvest Evangelism, I am
learning to rely on Jesus to battle my problems. I have rededicated my life to Christ and repented of my former idolaLee-Scott Philantrophy Once Again

Thanks to Christy Garner, teacher-sponsor,
and the Hudson Family Foundation for their generous
support, the Lee-Scott Academy Philantrophy Class
had two students, Kathryn Young and Savannah Bethune, donate their money to Hosanna Home,
This class studies what it means to be a philanthropist
and they visit numerous charities in our community and
look at what they do. The students decide where they
want to give thier money. We are honored to have these
two ladies bless our mimistry with their donations.
Philantrophy...maybe that’s a class we should all take.

Pastor Rick Preaching
At Brooklyn Tabernacle on July 7
We want to invite all our New York friends to come out
to Brooklyn Tabernacle on Tuesday night, July 7 at
7:00 pm. Rick will be sharing at Brooklyn Tabernacle
prayer meeting. This prayer meeting gained international notice through Pastor Jim Cymbala’s best selling book, “Fresh Wind-Fresh Fire”. Prayer meeting at
Brooklyn Tabernacle is like no other.
Harvest Evangelism is honored and grateful for the
friendship and support of
Brooklyn Tabernacle’s pastors, Jim Cymbala and TIm
Dilena. It is an honor to
have such men of God and
such a powerful church
stand with us in our ministry here.
Rick will also be ministering at The East Harlem
Fellowship on Wednesday night, July 8.
Rick, Kim, Dreamer and RC will all be in New York for these meetings (and a few days prior). We’d all love to see all our New York friends while we are there.
Please be praying, we are
working with Auburn University’s Chette Williams to
bring Pastor Cymbala, a former basketball player and
avid basketball fan to Auburn for this coming basketball season to a team chapel with Coach Pearl (a New
Yorker himself) and our Auburn Tigers.
Hopefully, when he comes down we’ll get him to preach
for us here in our community.
We Would Love To Come To Your Church:
Rick, Kim, Mark Macintire, Angie and Crystal are all
powerful preachers and teachers of God’s word.
We would love to send any of our staff to share at your
church anytime.
Give us a call/contact us and let us set up a time for
someone from Harvest Evangelism to come to your
church. I bet you’ll be blessed to haveus, and I know we’ll be blessed to come...
Personal Developments
HighwayMinistry
On May 14th, 2015 a wonderful journey with Harvest Evangelism came to an end as I said my “goodbyes” to them at a
farewell event at Hosanna Home. It was sad to leave the residents as they had meant so much to me over the years. God used them
to heal the deficits in my heart and I am thankful for it. Another group of individuals that meant a lot to me where the men and
women in the Highway Support Group. Since 2011 I saw the men guys grow into who they are today. What an encouragement!
Like a father, it is time to send them on their way to walk in that which God gave them. I am excited yet anxious for them. I trust
God will help them grow and that He will complete what He started to do in their lives. The last group: Mother’s/Outreach prayer
group, imparted a few final precious and memorable moments in my heart before leaving for Pennsylvania. Through their faithfulness to see God’s will
be done at whatever measure of self-denial or personal pain, I saw God answer prayer. What a blessing they have been!
But what preciousness is there in the “fellowship of the saints in the sufferings of Christ”. This is what makes this Christian life a journey
of joy. We are called to carry one another’s burdens and so “fulfill the law of Christ”. (Galatians 6:2) I am already missing the men, women, children,
mothers, fathers and ministry workers around me. Their trials and struggles were mine and my struggles were theirs. What a honor it was to have known
such great men and women of God: precious ones belonging to the Father.
But it is time for the next step is one that must happen so that God’s will can be done. Like I always say, “in Christ we never lose friends, we
only gain more of them”, so in leaving God will surely add to what we already have “in this life and in the life to come, with persecutions”. THANKS
TO ALL MY FRIENDS HERE AT HOME IN ALABAMA. PLEASE STAY IN TOUCH: www.desmondfrick.us

“Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide
yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. For
where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Luke 12:32-34

Items Needed
1. Vehicles: We were blessed to recieve several vehicles last month. We’ve already given them away or put them into ministry use.
We still need vehicles, especially a 15 passenger van.
2. Fresh Fruit and Vegetables: If your garden has a bounty we could sure use it. We do
250-300 meals EVERYDAY, and we don’t get a
lot of fresh fruit and vegetables.
3. Chest Freezers: To put those fruits and vegetables up in.
4. Fishing rods, reels, poles, tackle: We’d like to take our men, women and children
fishing but we don’t have the tackle to do so.
Any and all type of fishing tackle would be a blessing. (As would the fishing
holes to take our folks to.)
5. Magazines: The Christian magazines you’ve read could still be re-read by our men and women. We could also appreciate magazine
that cover Gardening, Hunting and Fishing, Cooking, Arts and Crafts, and Sports (but NO swim suit edition).
THANKS for ALL you do!!! Harvest Evangelism depends on your gracious giving to meet all our needs.
