Calum Colvin is one of Scotland’s leading contemporary
artists and has a long-standing interest in Burns. His
innovative and distinctive work incorporates sculpture,
painting and photography. This exhibition will feature
Burns-related work created over several years.

Event: A PLAY, A PIE AND A PINT

The renowned theatre experience is brought once more
to The Gaiety Studio Theatre. This time round with an
Oran Mor Classic Cut – ‘Three Sisters’ by Anton Chekhov,
adapted by Viv Adam. Comedy or tragedy? Or absurdist
theatre? Chekhov’s “Three Sisters” has divided critics and
audiences ever since its first production. In an absurdist
setting, using Chekov’s original words, the sisters are
still trapped 15 years later, but now in a waiting room
surrounded by the ghosts and memories of characters
who have brought them to this point….. Remember
Claire Knight, Julie Duncan and Joyce Falconer as River
City’s three sisters Roisin, Shona and Iona? Now they play
Chekhov’s Olga, Masha and Irina and the city they long for

material is recited or original, if it’s your first time on stage
or thousandth, it doesn’t matter, not at all, we want to see

from the Heritage Lottery Fund to develop a £4.1 million

nocturnal habits on our TV screens in the visitor centre.
However, wouldn’t it be great to learn the tricks on how to
track this elusive mammal which is our largest carnivore.

Reid, is holding a Fiddle Day. Jenna is

be a wee craft stall with one or two Shetland surprises,
CDs, beautiful handmade scarfs and bags. Jenna’s brand
new fiddle book will be launched on the day! The day
finishes with an evening concert featuring Jenna and
