Event Highlights Performance Venue
HITEC Lauched Its First Wedding Showcase
A One-Stop Solution for Pre-Wedding Couples
HITEC is a well established multifaceted venue
with comprehensive supporting facilities, plus
professional catering and banqueting service,
making itself a perfect venue for unforgettable
weddings. It has successfully held its first
wedding expo “HITEC Wedding Showcase
2010” on January 9 at Rotunda 1, providing
one-stop solution for pre-wedding couples and
giving them a chance to experience the splendor of the
venues.
HITEC invited various professional wedding service
providers to display related products like red wine and
premium, helping busy couples to save time for searching
information and conveniently get what they need for their
wedding. What’s more, a seminar introducing Chinese
wedding customs by the famous Chinese wedding expert
Ms Lo Kan Fong, free service for choosing auspicious date
by Chan Wing Lam Fung Shui Institute, and also make-up
demonstration by Born To Be, were available for couples
to participate.

More than 500 pre-wedding couples attended this expo, while each of them were entitled
to get a pair of complimentary champagne flutes, snap shot service, gift and coupons
sponsored by wedding service providers. HITEC will continue to enhance its strength in
catering and expand its market share in wedding services.
Where the Stars Shine ‘Confucius’, ‘Nodame Cantabile’ and
‘Crossing Hennessy’ Movie Premieres
HITEC hosted 3 movie premieres at Star Hall, including ‘Confucius’
(Jan 25), ‘Nodame Cantabile’ (Feb 28) and ‘Crossing Hennessy’
(Mar 22), which were supported by the main casts, directors and
pop stars from Japan, Mainland
China and Hong Kong.
International movie stars, Chow Yun fat and Zhou Xun,
attended ‘Confucius’ movie premiere on Jan 25, and making it
an event full of laughter and joy.
The main casts of ‘Nodame Cantabile’, Hiroshi Tamaki and
Juri Ueno, attended the premiere on Feb 28, and kicked off
the event by a lighting ceremony to celebrate the Chinese
Valentines Day and also introduced the Valentines Day customs in Japan. The Metropolitan
Youth Orchestra of HK was invited to perform prior to the screening.

‘Crossing Hennessy’ movie premiere, sponsored by MaxHome, tenant of Emas, was the first
time for the main casts, Jackie Cheung and Tang Wei, to appear on the same stage to
promote the movie.
HITEC Sponsored Hong Kong Arts Festival
A Fascinating and Impressive Voice - Sa Dingding
Hopewell Holdings Limited (HHL), the parent company of HITEC, has been committed to Hong
Kong arts development, sponsored one of the most fascinating programs of the 38th Hong
Kong Arts Festival – Sa Dingding Concert held on Mar 19 & 20 at Star Hall.
Sa Dingding has shown her passion in music when she presented series of folk and traditional
music composed by herself with other 7 musicians, including 2 indigenous art performers.
Audiences were stunned by her unique voice and style, complimented by the special stage
effects, the performance has helped to purify their spirit and mind.

‘3 Rock Your Dream – Star Family Concert＇
ATV hosted ‘3 Rock Your Dream – Star Family Concert’ on Feb 16 & 17 at Star Hall. This box
office smashed concert was well received by fans on both days. The ‘Star Family’ members
performed series of popular songs, pushing the atmosphere to the highest. The newly
released ‘Star Family’ album premium set attracted their fans to purchase.
I-1 World Muaythai Grand Prix 2010
I-1 World Muaythai Grand Prix 2010 was held on March
23 at Star Hall. Organiser invited well known and high
quality boxers from every corner of the world to the
competition, in order to promote boxing events in Hong
Kong.

EMax Baby Olympic
“EMax Baby Olympic” was held on 3rd January attracting over 100 1 to 2 years-old babies to
join. The contest was a multi-sport event consisting of rowing boat; cycling; racing car; race
walking; weightlifting and horse riding. Babies were required to release their multi-potentials
and the highest levels of endurance in order to win the ranking and prize. Seminars were held
by the experts on preschool education in order to analyze the impact of exercise and the
instruction on how to develop Babies’ potential.

Max Home Furniture Auction
Before Lunar New Year, “MaxHome Furniture Auction” was held
by EMax and MaxHome. All furniture was auctioned from 10% of
the original prices, or even from 1 HK dollar. In addition, a lucky
draw was held to ensure satisfaction of customers. Ka-Lok Ng
was the host of the event. Zoey and Irene Hui, the famous
models of Hong Kong, were invited as promotion ambassador.

4MINUTE’s First Autograph Show in Hong Kong
Korea's hottest girl group 4 MINUTE held their first Hong Kong autograph show at EMax.
4MINUTE was so delighted to receive a welcome gift from MaxHome. Hong Kong Band Mr.
played games with 4MINUTE, such as ideal home designing and birthday cake designing for
pets. They also presented their own CD to each other for sharing. Over 200 fans attained
4MINUTE’s signature CD and a chance to get close to them.

EMax x Waigo Drift Meeting 2010
“EMax x Waigo Drift Meeting 2010 1st round” was held by EMax and Waigo Hobby on 7th
March. Professionals of remote control vehicles took part in the car racing game. Saito san,
the champion of Japan 2008 D1 Grand Prix
was invited to be the guest judge of the
racing and shared his own experience in
driving. The latest model of GTR ARISTO was
displayed for public viewing. Famous artistes,
Kama Lo, Zoey Shum and 4anda(son) has
also joined the event and tried to play the
remote control vehicles and enjoyed very
much.

Annual Dinner
at Star Hall
Star Hall is one of the most popular
venues for concert and variety events.
With our comprehensive facilities and
professional catering and banqueting
service, it has also become a perfect
choice for corporate annual events.

annual dinner at Star Hall, including

to March this year.

160 tables. The column-free design, 16m high ceiling and audio system are flexible for any
creative decoration, which also helped to make a successful and fun-filled corporate event.

Office Lobby Renovation
In order to provide quality service and better
working environment, HITEC will carry out
renovation works starting from June. The works
include forming a new office entrance lobby and
customer service counter on G/F (Picture 1),
which aims to deliver exquisite environment and
convenience to our office tenants and visitors.
