Series™ by selecting individual natural stones. Our craftsmen
create molds to capture the essence of each stone, nooks
and crannies of a natural face, fine sedimentary lines, dimples,
or the defined chisel mark made by a master stonemason.

Cleaning Mountain Stone
®
Much of what ends up as scuffing and excess mortar on the face of the stone can be avoided during the
installation process. Helpful tips can be found by referring to the Mountain Stone® installation guide online at www.mtstone.com. If mortar
and light scuffing occur, clean immediately with a small amount of water and a soft
bristle brush.

pressuring the stone as well as help minimize staining by splashing soil sediment. Mountain Stone® is not responsible for soil

• To resist water penetration, flashing must be used in accordance with applicable building codes at all penetrations
and terminations of the stone veneer. A flexible joint must be used in conjunction to flashing at all terminations of the stone.
• Like many other cement products, under certain weather conditions stone may have signs of efflorescence.
• Mortar color strongly affects the appearance of the finished job. Most installations look best when the mortar
complements the stone color.
