Countryside D I S C O V E RY CAMPING AND CARAVAN PARKS 2014 COUNTRYSIDE DISCOVERY BritainÊs Best Rural Camping & Caravanning Parks www.countryside-discovery.co.uk About Our Parks If you are feeling energetic some parks offer a range of activities, including canoeing, abseiling, climbing or caving or you could enjoy more traditional countryside pursuits of bird watching, fishing or walking. Welcome COUNTRYSIDE DISCOVERY Parks in Countryside Discovery are in tune with the natural environment with rare birds, deer, badgers and otters visiting the parks, plus a wide array of flora and fauna. The 'greenness' may be recognised with many parks achieving a green award. Countryside Discovery is a group of family-run caravan and camping parks in peaceful countryside locations, many in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Each park will have its own individual character, but all parks in Countryside Discovery share a common theme of tranquillity. How do we know that? Because each park is inspected before it can join Countryside Discovery. The park will be small, less than 150 pitches, away from busy roads and towns, and without the disturbance of noisy entertainment or discos, to ensure that you enjoy a peaceful, tranquil holiday. Countryside Discovery Parks can be found throughout the UK. Visit our website at: www.countryside-discovery.co.uk For a copy of the 2015 directory or further copies of this edition ring 0870 240 6085 9am-7pm (quote ÂcdbÊ) To receive a particular park brochure please contact the park of your choice. We also operate a Âbook aheadÊ service to enable you to tour from park to park. To ensure you enjoy a comfortable holiday, all parks in Countryside Discovery are inspected for quality under grading schemes run either by Visit Britain or the AA and they may also be a member of the British Holiday & Home Parks Association. ItÊs not just touring caravans and tents on Countryside Discovery Parks, there is a wide range of accommodation available, including caravan holiday homes, chalets, glamping, cottages and B&B. So you should be able to find a park to suit your needs. Visit our website at: www.countryside-discovery.co.uk 2 3 Planning your holiday Use the map and corresponding reference numbers to help plan your trip. Each region is colour coded using a coloured panel at the edge of each page, which also states the county each Countryside Discovery park is located in.
