Our Experts Say
Selected for its location right in the heart of the Hautes
Vosges mountains, with easy access from the N66 this is
an attractive site that has been in the same family since
1962. It is laid out on either side of a small stream ideal
for fishing, with another small fishing lake at the back of
the site. The friendly owners have improved it over the
years and created a very welcoming calm atmosphere
which attracts a good mix of nationalities. The wonderful
surroundings are complemented by a huge rectangular
swimming pool and a 30km cycle track from the site
along the old railway line which stretches from
Remiremont to Bussang. The breathtaking views offered
by the Ballon d'Alsace make the site an excellent choice
for hikers and mountain bikers.

Sanitary Facilities
All three toilet blocks have recently been modernised. Toilets
with paper. Push button showers with hooks, shelf and and rail.
Washbasins, except one in each block, are not in individual
cabins. Baby room and disabled. The block nearest reception
has free standing washbasins with automatic taps and is
heated. The block over the bridge to the left has separate
ladies and gents. The other two are mixed. Laundry facilities.
Chemical disposal point.
Services
700m walk to bread shop and small grocery store. Pre-order
bread to collect in snack bar. Cosy bar with pine-clad walls.
Snack/creperie. Barbecues allowed. Dogs accepted. Wi-Fi
connection 2€ an hour. Internet.

Directions
The site is on the south-western side of St-Maurice-sur-Moselle.
From Remiremont take the N66 towards Mulhouse. The access
road to the site is on your right behind a petrol station just as
you approach the town of St Maurice. From the East continue
through the town on the N66 and the site is on your left as you
leave the built-up area.
