Selected because this very large Castels site offers a
huge range of activities for young and old alike. It is set
in the lush parkland of a beautiful 16th century château
with 3 lakes for fishing or canoeing and its own golf
course. You cannot fail to be impressed by the
magnificent setting and the beauty of the surrounding
grounds. There is an enormous range of on-site activities
and is a perfect spot for an active family both during the
day and in the evening.It is a very busy camp site, as
there are several British tour operators with their own
mobile homes and tents. It is a fabulously vibrant spot
even in the low season and therefore not recommended
for those seeking a quiet French ambiance.

Pitches
Majority flat some gently sloping, mostly grassy and defined by
hedges, trees and shrubs. A mixture of sunny and shady plots.
Best pitches are in the demi-lune area overlooking the cricket
pitch and château. Some large 200m² pitches have recently
been created nr Les Donkeys sanitary block. 8 Premium
pitches available with storage shed, outdoor table & chairs,
parasol, refrigerator, barbecue and 1hr free internet per day.

Motorhomes
Motorhome service point. Everything you need on site, but not
walking distance of any towns or villages.

Three pool areas: covered aqua parc full of exotic plants with
waterslide situated next to outdoor pool with wave machine.
This area is not particularly attractive as the pool has a heavy
plastic covering and the sunbathing grass is astroturf. Further
outdoor aqua parc with waterslides,baby pool and sun terrace
overlooked by the main bar. Another quieter outdoor pool for
swimming by piano bar/restaurant.

Cycle hire, mini-golf, 2 tennis courts, horse riding, pedalos &
canoes, archery. Adventure course in the trees. Paintballing.
Climbing wall. 18-hole golf course, pitch & putt. Lessons with
qualified instructors in golf, horse riding and fishing. Huge

football. Multi-sports ground. All weather football pitch.

Entertainment
Entertainment programme throughout the season including
children’s clubs and sports tournaments during the day and
concerts, live bands, quiz nights in the evening.Soundproof
disco every night in the high season.
Sanitary Facilities
Six toilet blocks. Best and most recently installed is next to all
weather sports pitch in Bas Jardin, quite a distance from most
pitches, but several large cabins with showers and washbasins
combined. Push button, temperature controlled showers.
Toilets, some with seats and toilet paper. Other blocks
acceptable but could do with some renovation. Disabled
facilities. Baby room. Two Laundry areas. Chemical waste point.
Services
Supermarket, bakers, newsagents. Boutique selling summer
gear in same building as reception. Bars, pizzeria, take-away.
Two restaurants on site, one overlooking pool, one in golf club
house, plus another restaurant in the hotel. Ormizzy is an
electronic credit card unique to site. It has to be purchased on
arrival to allow entrance in and out of the site. Activities on site
may be purchased by cash or by use of the card. Full details

Directions
From N176. Take the exit to Dol de Bretagne at junction with
D4 and join the ring road to the south of the town. Follow the
ringroad and turn right following directions to Combourg and
Rennes on the D795.The campsite is well-signposted off the
ring road. Continue for approximately 8km and the site
entrance is on your left.
