Selected as this site is situated right in the little coastal
town of Le Pouldu 250m from the nearest beach. It is
maintained to a very high standard with fantastic
attention to detail. A small lighthouse at the entrance
signals a warm welcome from the Le Guennou family.
The site is landscaped with a magnificent profusion of
beautiful trees, plants and shrubs including different
varieties of cacti and palms. Breton artefacts adorn the
site in several spots and include fishing boats full of
flowers, an old cider press, pump, well and anchor. It is a
real pleasure to visit, as there is something new round

Swimming Pools
A medium-sized rectangular swimming pool which is covered
and heated to 28°. Paddling pool with mushroom shower
outside. 2 water-slides. Good outdoor sun terrace. Spa and
fitness complex "Escale Détente" includes a sauna, steam
room, gym and beauty salon.
Activities on Site
Cycle hire. Good children’s play area, 9-hole mini-golf, boules
pitch, football pitch surrounded by an orchard. Under cover
table tennis area and TV room. Small nature park at back of
site with farm animals. Barbecue area. Pet animals - ponies,
dwarf goats and new dwarf donkeys. Parc er Lann is an
enclosed landscaped area with ponds.
Entertainment
Children’s entertainment and sporting evenings daily and
musical evening once a week in high season.
Sanitary Facilities
Very well appointed toilet blocks with attractive tiling on floor
and wooden doors kept spotlessly clean. Heated in low season.
Push button temperature control showers with hooks and shelf.
There are integral bins in the wash cubicles and toilets which
have seats and toilet paper. Disabled facilities. Baby room. A
fabulous garden with fountain enhances the exterior of one of
the blocks. Separate laundry room with washing machines and
tumble dryers. Chemical waste point.
Services
Restaurant-pizzeria-bar “L’Escale Gourmande” at entrance to
site opens from the end of April. There is a mini-market “Le
Filet à Provisions” over the road open all season. Barbecues
allowed. Dogs accepted Internet and Wi-Fi connection
throughout site.

Mobile homes for 4/6 persons. Some privately owned mobile
homes. A two bedroom Mobile-home for 4 persons adapted for
wheel-chair users.

Directions
From N165, exit Kervidanou/Quimperlé Ouest and follow the
D16 towards Clohars-Carnoët. Continue through the village
and turn left onto D24 towards Le Pouldu. Head towards the
village centre and just before you arrive at a one-way section
of the main street turn right and the site entrance is
immediately on your right.
Excursions / Places to Visit
You are given a useful booklet on arrival with site rules and
detailed information on places to visit in the area, marked out
walking and cycling tracks, local markets, tides etc. Three
beaches in Le Pouldu. The GR34 coastal path runs along the
jagged coastline. Quimperlé, Pont Aven, Concarneau, Carnac.
