Selected as this Castels site is well placed for visiting all
the main attractions and châteaux of the Loire valley
and is set in a wonderful mature forest where many of
the trees are over a hundred years old. The focal point
of the site is the lovely lake area suitable for a stroll, a
relaxing picnic or for fishing. There is a good indoor pool
down by the lake.

Attractive outdoor aqua complex good for bathing but not
swimming. Set of 4 parallel waterslides and one long single
slide descending into separate pool. Children's pool with
mushroom shower. Indoor pool 13m x 6m by the lakeside,
good for swimming.
Activities on Site
Special area of natural beauty around the lake which is great
for walks. Also excellent for fishing. In June, July and August,
adventure trails on zipwires through the the trees called
"accrobranche" accessible to adults and children measuring
over 1m35. Pedaloes to hire on the lake. Two tennis courts.
Volleyball and badminton courts. Football pitches. Boules piste.
Basketball. Archery. Skate park. 9-hole mini-golf. Table tennis
area above the shop. Indoor games area with video games and
billiards. Children's play area. Cycle and go-kart hire. Electric

Directions
From A10 take exit 24.1 towards Monts and Sorigny. Take the
D84 to Sorigny and turn right onto the D910 towards Ste
Maure de Touraine. After 10km turn left onto the D101 to Ste
Cathérine de Fierbois. Continue straight through the village
and after 400m turn right following signs to the campsite.
From the South take exit 25 from the motorway and take the
D910 following signs to Ste Maure de Touraine. Continue on
the D910 through Ste Maure and after 7km turn right onto the
D101 to Ste Cathérine de Fierbois. Then continue as above.
Excursions / Places to Visit
Numerous châteaux in the Loire, including Amboise,
Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Chambord. Medieval
city of Loches, Futuroscope theme park. Zoos at Beauval and
Doué.
