Selected because this is a pretty well run site on the
banks of the Vienne river and walking distance of the
centre of La Roche Posay. Situated north of Poitiers it is
laid out in beautiful tree lined alleys. It offers a host of
activities for young families in the high season but has a
tranquil atmosphere for couples in the low season
including canoeing on the river.

Posay. As you arrive on th outskirts of La Roche Posay there is
a large roundabout with a retail park. Take the third exit onto
the D725b (ignore the sign to a campsite at the second exit).
After 1km turn left onto the D5. The entrance to the campsite
is on your right. From A10 South. Take exit 27 then continue as
above.
Excursions / Places to Visit
La Roche-Posay 1.2km is a spa town with waters renowned for
their healing properties, a lovely medieval centre and a good
choice of bars, restaurants and shops. Châtellerault 18km
offers some spectacular architecture and the Musée Auto Moto
Velo – an interactive museum with an impressive collection of
motorbikes. Futuroscope 35km.
