From the Lugano train station, take the train to Rivera, where the
Mount Tamaro cableway will take you up the mountain, surrounded
by incredible breath-taking views. At the top, the kids can explore
the three level suspended path winding through magnificent, century
old beech trees, while parents can just relax and admire the view.
Back down to earth, take a swim at the Splash&Spa aquatic park,
unique in its kind. Backpack, bathing suit and you’re all set… Ready
for adventure!
Take the cableway from Miglieglia to the top of Mount Lema and half
an hour later you’ll be rewarded with a spectacular view. The stunning
scenery, which will accompany you on your hike to Mount Tamaro
spans from Lake Maggiore, Val Maggia, Val Verzasca and Locarno to
the north, while to the south the view spans over Lugano, its valleys
and the Lake. As a backdrop, the Alps’ most majestic peaks, Mount
Rosa and the Matterhorn. From Mount Tamaro, a cableway will take
you to Rivera, where a train will bring you back to Lugano.
A unique experience, which will allow you to admire landscapes of
rare beauty, surrounded by the naturalistic wonders of the Gulf of
Lugano. A boat will take you to Gandria, a romantic fishermen’s village
built at the foot of Mount Brè, to visit the small hamlet and have lunch
in a typical Ticinese grotto. You may go back to Lugano either by boat
or by taking the famous Olive Path, a pleasant walk back to town.
The excursion, which from Mount San Salvatore leads to Morcote is
simply ideal to admire the fascinating wonders of nature. The view from
the summit of the San Salvatore is spectacular. The trail passes through
the quaint village of Carona, where you’ll get the opportunity to visit
the San Grato Park botanical gardens. The walk continues along an
enchanted trail all the way to Alpe Vicania. From here you walk down
to charming Morcote, where a boat awaits to take you back to Lugano.

Just a few kilometres away from Lugano stands one of Ticino’s main
attractions: the castles of Bellinzona, today on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Don’t miss the opportunity of going back in time, visiting

The train, departing from Lugano, will conduct you to the very heart
of the Italian fashion district in little over than an hour; apart from indulging in shopping, you can also enjoy the charm and beauty of art
and culture. If you love art and the Bohemian style, don’t miss the
opportunity of visiting and enjoying the unique atmosphere of the art
galleries along the Navigli.

Malcantone hills on board of a boat, which will take you from Lugano to Caslano. The trip continues with a visit to the Fishing Museum,
