Serving Collectors, Investors,
Organizations, and Governments
Since 1982
Major Governments and International Organizations
Rely On Panda America
Panda America has been one of the world’s leading retail and
wholesale dealers in gold and silver bullion, commemorative
and numismatic coins, since 1982. Panda America helped
create the pandemonium that followed the introduction of
China’s first gold Pandas, catapulting these bullion coins
into prominence among collectors and investors alike
around the world.
Panda America continues to create markets for the Pandas
and all of China’s gold and silver commemoratives, as
well as precious metal bullion and commemorative
coins from other major world mints including Australia,
Canada, France, Great Britain, Israel, Japan, Mexico,
the United States, etc.
Panda America also has one of the largest inventories
of world gold coins and is also an active buyer of all
rare coins.
Panda America Coordinates Coin Marketing Programs
from Concept to Realization
Panda America’s hugely successful marketing program
for China’s gold and silver Panda coins beginning
in 1982 and Olympic commemoratives starting
in 1983, paved the way for the company’s
preeminent role in the modern coin field.
Since that auspicious start, Panda America has
developed close working relationships with
governments, mints, international organizations,
other major coin distributors, wholesalers and
retailers—around the world .
Panda America’s unequalled record of achievement
has helped us create an effective distribution network
for future projects. In addition, we have built a strong
customer base of over 10,000 collectors who look to Panda
America for new issues of commemorative and precious
metal bullion coins — and we are constantly adding names to
that base through advertising, press releases and our website
www.PandaAmerica.com.
An important service that we offer our customers — that no
government mint offers—is the establishment of a two-way
market, that gives them liquidity whenever they consider
selling some or all of their numismatic holdings.
Panda America’s commitment to quality and service has
earned the respect and loyalty of our customers, partners and
other professional numismatists alike.
Panda America can create medals or coins to commemorate
a person, anniversary or historic event. We will work with a
leading medalist and a quality mint to convert your idea into
reality.
Panda America has also worked directly with government mints
to originate and promote commemorative coin programs—as
we did with China to develop the Inventions and Discoveries
series (1992-1996), and with the Sovereign Nation of the
Shawnee Tribe to produce the first series of coins ever issued
by federally-recognized Native American Indians, beginning
in 2002.
Sometimes we market these special issues ourselves, and
other times they are marketed by third parties. Either way, after
we supervise the designs and minting, we help with historic
information, public relations, advertising, etc.
Earning the Respect of Governments and Organizations
From Around the World
Reaching out to Collectors
on the Web and in Print
Panda America’s web pages feature coins from over 100
countries—from the 18th century to the present. Each coin
is pictured along with a short description, the specifications
and the price. A few clicks, and the coin can be added to a
collection or investment portfolio.
In addition to coins for sale, much useful information can be
obtained about buying and selling coins, grading, frequently
asked questions, articles, and other useful information—that
form an encyclopedia of modern coin issues.
Panda America’s web site www.PandaAmerica.com was
launched in 1999. Today it comes out at the top of many
Google® searches, and attracts over a million visitors a
year from around the world. It allows collectors to view and
purchase over 3,000 coins ranging from popular silver and
gold bullion coins to great rarities.
Panda America also reaches the collector community through
advertisements and frequent press releases—which are
published in leading numismatic publications in the United
States and abroad.
The Motto of Panda America’s Experienced Staff is
“Customer service comes first.”
Panda America’s CEO, Kitty Quan, has been with the company
for over two decades; she works closely with government
mint officials to achieve their marketing goals. Peter Yeung,
President of Panda America, has collected coins since he was
11, starting his own coin business at 15, and beginning his
association with Panda America in 1988.
Panda America both sells and buys a wide assortment of
numismatic material—including precious metal bullion items,
rare United States and world coins, paper money, medals, etc.
of interest to collectors and investors.
Panda America also offers bullion and collector coins that have
been authenticated, graded and encapsulated by the leading
third-party certification services—Professional Coin Grading
Service (PCGS) and Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC).
The principles of Panda America attend major national and
international coin shows to keep their hands on the pulse of
the worldwide marketplace.
We are proud of our personalized customer service — whether
over-the-counter, by telephone or email. We guarantee
satisfaction and abide by the Code of Ethics of the American
Numismatic Association (our President is a Life member) and
the Industry Council for Tangible Assets (ICTA). In addition,
Panda America is a member of the Torrance Area Chamber of
Commerce.
Panda America offers leadership in distributing modern
commemorative and precious metal bullion coins from around
the world. Our successful track record speaks for itself.

Bringing Four Decades
of Experience to Asia
Over the last 30 years, Panda America’s principles have made
hundreds of trips to Asia—working with leading government
mints, attending international coin shows, and meeting with
clients. In order to bring our personalized service to the
important Asian market, in 2011 we opened the doors of
Panda America Pte Ltd in Singapore, and in the same year
we organized the Singapore International Coin Fair 2011—the
first major Singapore coin show held in over a decade..
Singapore International Coin Fair 2011 was held over a 3-day
weekend, and proved to be an unqualified success. More than
8,000 interested buyers attended to visit the tables and exhibits
of leading world mints and international dealers.
Typical of the enthusiastic participants were Mr. Chen
Zichuan, the Chairman of China Gold Coin Incorporation, and
Mr. Mr. Anthony Williams of Sunshine Minting International
(Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Mr. Zichuan remarked that “next year we
will have to bring even more staff to handle the large crowds
and overwhelming demand,” and Mr. Williams mentioned to
Panda America President Peter Yeung that he was amazed by
the crowd, and “all of my brochures were taken within the first
day—I even had customers offering to buy a brochure!”
Panda America is planning to host the Singapore International
Coin Fair every year.
