OsteoSponge® SC Benefits OsteoSponge® SC is a scaffold with osteoinductive properties to promote regeneration of subchondral bone. The interconnected pore structure of the collagen matrix is beneficial for absorbing blood and bone marrow from surrounding tissue. Its cylindrical shape can be press fit and compresses for perfect placement into the defect. OsteoSponge® SC is available for 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm defect diameters. Appropriate product placement is achieved with the use of our simple, cannulated instrumentation system and is ideal for arthroscopic or mini-open approaches.
