Amy has leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. Since tissue type is inherited, her best chance of finding a genetically matched bone marrow donor lies with those of Eastern-European Jewish ethnic ancestry. Donors will be entered into the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Registry for the benefit of patients worldwide in desperate need of life-saving matches.
