Linux vs Windows
Security in Internet
In the previous days many types of
viruses have spread over the
internet. They spread very fast
causing
serious
problems
in
computers. The first thing is to know
the enemy to be able to fight its
effects. A virus nothing more than a
program that it installs itself
automatically on the computer
without the permission or knowledge
of the user and with the intention of
changing the correct functioning.
Virus can be transmitted by the email and in web pages of erotic
content or pirate software. There are
numerous types of programs that it
can be updated every day, like
antivirus or firewalls.
From being a simple project of a university
student, Linux has become a strong
competituor of Windows and Microsoft. The
difference between both, is that Windows
started with an unstable base but with a
simple desk to use and with good
appearance, on the other hand, Linux
began with a robust and stable starting
base, but a dificult desk.
At the moment, both operating systems are
very similar. In base Windows 2000 has a
more stable base and a better functionality
in the professional sector.
On the one hand, Linux has improved its
desk appearance and it has included new
applications software, with more than 5000
programs and a lot of games.
Characteristic:
In stability, Linux and Windows 2000/xp have a similar behavior. Although
one cannot say the same of the previous versions of Windows.
In performance Linux is clearley better for its great capacity to have
applications opened up in the desk without descreasing the perforance of the
system. This superiority is noticed mainly in old computers.
The use of Windows has been very easy. However Linux began with a hard
use that has been made easier in the new versions.
Linux has the open code as a result its price is very cheap or free, in addition
it can be improved from different companies. However Windows can only be
managed by Microsoft and its price is very expensive.
Lastly, Linux has compatibility with all the applications of computers that use
Windows.

HEALTH
Nowadays people have many eating
disorders. People usually eat “fast
food” instead of vegetables, fish,
meat… which is healthy food.
The big problem in society today is
that people don’t take care of what
they eat, which is important for our
bodies and our health.
Today we can find many illnesses which are worrying for us and for people
who are around us. One of these problems is obesity .
This illness is very common in many countries. U.S.A which is the country
with the highest number of people suffering from obesity.
The problem they have is that the eat a lot
“between meals”, and they don’t practise enough
activities or sports to lose weight.
This kind of people know that they are fat but
they are happy whit themselves. Are they
really?
After many medical checkups, doctors confirm
that we have to take care.
Another worry problem in our society is anorexic and bulimic which have
some relationship. Many teenagers suffer from these
illnesses because they think that they are fat, so they
are not happy with themselves.
They do crazy things with food. After they have lunch
they feel sorry and they stick their fingers into their
throats. These illnesses begin when the media,
television, friends influences them tremendously.
KILL BILL
Kill Bill is the fourth Quentin Tarantino´s movie. According to the
critics, it is the most violent film of this director, even more than "Pulp
Fiction". Some sources say that the movie is composed of two parts;
when Tarantino edited it, he realized that he had enough plot to make
two films. Because of this, he joins "Matrix" or "The Lord of the Rings"
style. The first volume will be released in the USA on 10th October; the
second maybe in 2004 spring. Each part will take about one hour and a
half.
Uma Thurman works with Quentin again (she already took part in
"Pulp Fiction"), beside Lucy Lui ("Charlie´s Angels") and David
Carradine (famous for the TV serie, "Kung Fu"). As Quentin Tarantino is
used to doing, he takes part in the movie, in this occasion, he dubs the
voice of one of the characters, and he also makes the script.
Bride (Uma Thurman) is a pregnant assassin who seeks revenge after
that her boss Bill (David Carradine) shot her in her wedding. When she
awakes from coma, she tries to kill her co-workers and boss who had
attacked her.
SHIN CHAN: THE MOVIE
Sinosuke Noara is a five-year-old boy who is more well
known by people as Shin Chan. He is shameless,
unpredictable and troublemaker, in fact, he can get all who
come close to him worked up.
In this cartoon movie, Shin Chan and his family take part in
the search of the lost balls.
The film was released on 27th June, it is a movie full of
action and typical humour of the TV series, that is to say,
barefaced and irreverent. On the other hand, the length of the
film is three times longer than a TV episode, so, the funny
scenes are less important, because of this, it can result rather
boring for children, who maybe are waiting for its
characteristic dynamism.
The graphic design and the plot are
similar to the TV serie, and although they
are a bit more carefully worked, it goes
on with the cartoon style and the
characteristic colours. The most
important thing, is not its excellent
animation, in fact, it is the surrealist and
funny script, where we don´t miss the
language and the expressions, sometimes
quite rude, typical of Shin Chan. This film
is set in Japan and it´s about a group
called "Cataplines" that is looking for a
magic ball which let them invoke a sort of
devil. Himawari, Sinosuke´s sister,
swallows this ball by chance, and because
of this, they get involved in the scape

time. There are many kinds of hobbies related
with collections or model-making. A lot of
people enjoy themselves collecting things such
as stamps, lighters, turnkeys, books, films,
magazines, cards. Other people have more
sophisticated tastes like cars or planes, jewels,
shoes, coins, antiques, even strange people can
come to collect snots, tangas or things like that.
Model-making hobbies are more interactive
than collection ones. They consists of
constructing things with your own hands.
There are lots of things to make, since cars,
buildings, planes, trains and their tours, to
scaled radiocontrol or slot cars.
