What a way to end Girl Scout Week! Not only did we celebrate Girl
Scouts' birthday on March 12, we also honored the achievements of
exceptional Girl Scouts at the annual Awards Ceremony. A crowd of
over 200 cheered on the Gold and Silver Awardees, scholarship
winners and graduating seniors. Special thanks to program host
Nicole Clapp, who sits on the Badgerland Board of Directors and
shared her own story of earning Gold. The keynote presenter was
another proud Girl Scout Gold earner: Renee Moe, President of
Dane County United Way.

Sixteen Badgerland Girl Scouts earned their Gold Awards at the
ceremony. The Gold Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout can
earn and this year is its 100th anniversary.
