PRESIDENT’S UPDATE
The Little NHL Executive Committee would like to acknowledge the exceptional
hosts of Whitefish River First Nation and Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation
communities and host committee members on hosting a successful, recording
breaking, 2015 LNHL tournament.
More importantly, I would also like to acknowledge all the managers and coaching
staff who take the time to put in a team and to the players, parents and fans for
keeping the Little NHL hockey tradition alive for 44 years. This tournament is a
great family tradition that connects our children, families and communities from
all over Ontario.
The theme of the 45th Annual Little NHL will honour 45 Years of Fan Appreciation and host a banquet
honouring inductees into the LNHL Hall of Fame on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Little NHL, will also honour
the memory of the late Ember Wynne with a memorial trophy sponsored by Toronto Tourism which will be
dedicated to the girls division.
As announced at the 2015 Little NHL, the tournament will be returning to the City of Mississauga, Ontario,
where we will occupy close to 10 ice surfaces and approximately 40 hotels. For added convenience, all hotels
are within approximately 15 minutes drive from any arena!
