A "Glass Lined" water heater is NOT a "thermos" bottle
as many people think. It is a steel tank with porcelain coating just like your kitchen stove. The heating and cooling

The tank of an Allcraft heater is 316L SS. The external
cylinder is Type 304 polished stainless steel. Our Water
Heaters are built exclusively for marine use, to withstand
the corrosion of the salt atmosphere and the pounding of
the seas.
