IN³ WELCOME
On behalf of the U.S. Embassy in Madrid and Chamberí Valley Association, it is our
distinct pleasure to invite you to participate in our second annual edition of
IN3 (IN-Cubed), Spain’s premier innovation event.
On the 8-10 June, 2016 in Madrid, leading Spanish and American Innovators, Investors,
and Institutional representatives will again gather to expand collaboration, investment,
and business growth for scalable tech and tech-enabled companies in a dynamic,
interactive setting.
The first edition of IN3, held in June 2015 at Google’s Campus Madrid and inaugurated by
H.M. King Felipe VI of Spain, sparked new investments, forged new partnerships, and
inspired attendees to overcome obstacles on their path to success.
Over 150 high-level entrepreneurs, investors, and government officials attended the
event, including Maria Contreras-Sweet, Administrator, U.S. Small Business
Administration; José Manuel Soria, Spanish Minister of Industry, Energy, and Tourism;
Eric Schmidt, Executive Chairman, Alphabet; Martin Varsavsky, Founder and CEO, Fon;
and Ken Howery, Co-Founder and Partner, Founders Fund.
IN3 received extensive press coverage, promoting entrepreneurial values to an audience of
53 million people through social media and becoming a top trending topic on Twitter.
IN3 2016 will build on last year’s success and provide a stimulating experience for all
attendees. Inspiring keynote speakers and innovative sessions will spark new business
opportunities and drive the expansion of trade and investment between the Unites States
and Spain.
In partnership with the U.S. Embassy, the non-profit Chamberí Valley Association
strives to support startup growth by fostering a collaborative, connected ecosystem
where entrepreneurs, investors and other stakeholders succeed together.
Our collaboration on IN3 reflects our mutual commitment to build long-lasting ties
and add value to the Spanish and U.S. innovation economies.
We hope you will join us for this very special event!
