Planning a visit with your school?
For the past 10 years the Weston Sand Sculpture Festival has entertained,
excited and inspired around 600,000 people.
What do you want to be when you’re older? A pop star? A
footballer? A dancer?
This year, at the Weston Sand Sculpture Festival, we have
literally turned your dreams into sand! Our talented team of
world class sand sculptors will create an exhibition celebrating
all of those big dreams you have for your future.
This year we also have an exciting twist! YOU will get to vote for
your favourite sculpture. Our incredible artists will be asked to
design something very special for you to nominate in this years,
‘sculptor freestyle competition’. Pick up your magic coin at the
entrance, then vote for the best sculpture and watch this space
to see if you picked the winner!
Some sandtastic prizes are to be won, as well as your favourite
annual activities in the Weston Super Mare sand.

Planning a visit with your school?
Last year we had hundreds of visitors from schools across the UK come
along and learn all about the magical art of sand sculpture. Our world
champion artists were on hand to show them all the tricks of the trade and
help put together their own class creation. This year we aim to inspire and
excite even more of you.

A fun and inspiring break away from the classroom. Hit the beach and come and
explore our exhibition of giant sand sculptures. We will include a Teachers Pack,
full of activities to do at the festival or back in the classroom. A Sand-tastic Quiz
will be available for every child.

Workshop to your tour? Let one of our sand sculpture experts show you
all the tips and tricks of the trade so that you too can make a work of
art. A great team building activity! We can even theme your workshop
to reflect something you are learning about in school!
