Welcome to Ohio English Setter Rescue’s first annual charity ball and auction! We look
forward to your support in order to continue our efforts to rescue and promote English
Setters and to build dog-friendly communities for our families. All proceeds and donations
from tonight will go towards assisting OESR to provide quality foster and veterinary care so
that unwanted English Setters can be placed in loving and committed forever homes. Thank
you for joining us as we celebrate our second anniversary. We hope you will participate
generously and enthusiastically but most of all,

LIVE AUCTION ITEMS
Item Number 1 - Seven day condominium rental in Manasota Key, Fl. Time frame to be
coordinated between the auction winner and donator – 3 bedroom; sleeps 5-6. The
views of the Gulf of Mexico don’t get any better than from this direct beach-front second
floor end-unit. Watch gorgeous sunsets right from your private balcony. Wireless internet
is included so you can stay “connected”. This unit has all the amenities and upgrades
you would expect in a luxury unit. The kitchen has granite counters with double sinks and
stainless steel appliances. All plumbing fixtures are brushed nickel. This unit is mainly
ceramic tile with exception of the three bedrooms. The master bedroom is oversized with
a king-size bed, walk in closet and sliders to the balcony. The master bath has double

Item Number 2 - Four club seat tickets to the Pittsburgh Steelers versus the Cincinnati

Item Number 3 - Seven day condominium rental at Tree Tops Resort in Gatlinburg, TN in
the Great Smoky Mountains National Park ( 5/12-5/19, 2012). This two bedroom unit
(max occupancy 6) includes a gas or wood burning fireplace, queen size sleeper sofa,
whirlpool tub in master bath, hairdryers, color televisions with cable service, DVD/VCR
players, iron and ironing board, central heat and air, wireless internet service, telephone
service with direct numbers, and private balconies. A completely furnished kitchen with
stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, garbage disposal, all utensils and small appliances affords you the option of cooking in. Guests also enjoy 3 outdoor pools, 2 kiddie
pools, 1 indoor pool and dry sauna, 5 hot tubs, BBQ gas grills, indoor racquetball court,
putting green, shuffleboard court, fitness center, playground, and basketball goal. Complimentary on-site laundry facilities are conveniently located throughout the resort. Additional housekeeping services are available by request for a nominal fee. Donated by Heidi

Item Number 4 - Seven day resort rental at Hilton Grand Vacations Suites in Orlando, FL
(6/3 through 6/10, 2012). This beautiful family resort is just minutes from Orlando’s

Item Number 5 - Hand-carved wooden “Buddha Setter” statue made specifically for OESR
by Roger Wing, a Philadelphia-based artist and conservator. 18” high, carved out of
sycamore (English Plane Tree), has been named “Mu”. Starting bid $150.

Item Number 1 - Basket of Ohio Wines and Accessories. Includes a bottle of Niagara and

English Setters and Pheasants, the other of Holiday Candy. Single coat of stain; can easily

Items Number 12 and 13 - Nuno felted scarves. The nuno technique bonds wool into a
sheer silk gauze, creating a lightweight felt. Each of these gorgeous hand-made scarves
not only makes a stunning statement, but will also keep you very warm! Created and

Item Number 14 - A basket of hand-made porcelain English Setter ornaments. Donated

Item Number 15 - A painted brass sculpture of an English, Irish, and Gorden Setter. This
was a personal gift created in appreciation of Peg McIntyre’s efforts to educate the Setter community about Canine Megaesophagus. The setter depicts Peg’s Gordon, Eva, her
foster Irish, Henry, and her rescued English, Eli. Peg generously donated this sculpture
to OESR in the hopes that it’s auction could raise funds to continue OESR’s amazing
achievements. Starting bid $25.
Item Number 16 - A large (37x22x6) Big Sky Dog Bed and plush toy donated by ecofriendly pet supply company West Paw Design. The bed is covered in easy to clean faux
suede and the inner pillow is machine washable. Starting bid $40.

wine, 1 serving platter, a corkscrew, 2 jars of Rothschild Dips,
