Installation and Operation Instructions
Peristaltic pumps
Introduction
1 Introduction
1.1 Intended use
This product is intended to discharge condensate from gas analysis systems in commercial ap
plications.
Using peristaltic pumps is particularly beneficial when running the analysis system under negat
ive pressure. They ensure condensate is discharged whilst sealing the system.
1.2 Scope of delivery

Condensate discharge
by peristaltic pumps
The discharge of condensate collected from sample conditioning systems requires a means of removal.
For other applications standalone pumps with protective
housing are available.
Peristaltic pumps are the appropriate equipment for systems
operating under negative pressure.
The PKE 5 and 52 Peltier coolers are also available with the
pump directly attached.
To make integration as simple as possible, add-on frames
are provided which mount directly to the EGK 1/2 or EGK 4
coolers. Up to 2 pumps can be integrated inside the EGK 1/2
and up to 4 inside the EGK 4 frame.
Peristaltic pumps in this datasheet should only be used for
upgrades. For the new, improved pumps, see datasheet
DE 450020.
