PRINCIPAL BISHOP DUNNE CATHOLIC SCHOOL DALLAS, TEXAS JULY 2016 Bishop Dunne Catholic School is seeking an innovative and energetic Principal to serve as the educational leader of the oldest diocesan-‐sponsored high school in the Catholic Diocese of Dallas. Founded in 1901 as Our Lady of Good Counsel and established as a diocesan school in 1961, Bishop Dunne is a co-‐educational, college-‐preparatory school that serves a diverse, multicultural community in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The School is situated on 19 acres of residential property and is located in the very heart of the City of Dallas’ “Grow South” expansion program. With 620 students in Grades 6-‐12 and approximately 75 teaching faculty and learning support staff, Bishop Dunne Catholic School provides a unique, individualized, accelerated educational program that is shaped by core values based upon Catholic social teaching and the charisms of the School’s founding orders, the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur and the Brothers of the Sacred Heart.
