1 - SEMI-AUTOMATIC VERSION
DRUM-BY-DRUM FILLING
The operator positions the dosing nozzle just above the
bunghole of the drum to be filled and starts the entire
automatic dosing cycle.
• Output: up to 10 tonnes/hour
• No handling of heavy loads (containers are directly filled
• R eduction of downtime (Ergonomics of the station
enable the operator to carry out several tasks in hidden
time: uncapping / capping / crimping / labelling...)
• Able to fill from 20/30 L casks to 1000L containers
on the pallet)
PR1500 drum fillers are equipped with a
1500 kg scale platform and a multirange
dosing indicator, which enables filling a
wide range of containers with precision..

The operations are carried out in sequence. The containers are
introduced in the starwheel and successively placed under the
different stations:

When the pallet of empty drums is placed in the filling area, the
operator firstly establishes the positionning of the bungholes.

Then, he starts the automatic cycle : all containers on the pallet are
filled without any other intervention by the operator.
It is possible to automate the uncapping, the inert gas purging (by
gaseous nitrogen) and the capping of drums and casks.
FILLING TECHNIQUES

Version C: diving nozzle
For ATEX applications, we propose an automatic drum
earthing system which ensures the greatest safety. There
is no clamp to manipulate and no risk of errors: indeed
the drum in the process of being filled is properly earthed. In case of defects, the filling cycle does not proceed
and is stopped.
