INGROUND TRAMPOLINE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS WWW.SALTATRAMPOLINES.COM * Please note that the manual is additional information with the regular manuals delivered with the Salta Trampolines. The provided information for inground trampolines is carefully prepared for safety. The company is not responsible for any common issues and derived from this manual. PREPARATION INGROUND TRAMPOLINE DETERMINE SIZE OF THE TRAMPOLINE HOLE: - To determine how much space you need to excavate the hole you have to setup the top rail from the trampoline as showed below. Place the top rail on the location where you decide to place the trampoline. Take a little bit more space then the top rail to ensure the trampoline will fit into the hole. * Consider to use more space when you consolidate the sides from the hole. * Keep also in mind when you want to use the safety net to take more space between the top rail and the size of the hole. SALTA TRAMPOLINE TOP RAIL DIAMETERS: Salta Trampoline 561 & 562 183cm & 213cm Salta Trampoline 563 & 564 244cm & 305cm Salta Trampoline 565 & 566 366cm & 427cm DEPTH OF THE TRAMPOLINE HOLE: To determine the depth of the trampoline hole depends from size of the trampoline. * Please note when stabilizing the underground with concrete or plates to dig out deeper than the indication below. ITEM NR. DEPTH OF HOLE WIDTH OF HOLE 561 45 cm min. width 183cm 562 45 cm min. width 213cm 563 70 cm min. width 244cm 564 70 cm min. width 305cm 565 82 cm min. width 366cm 566 82 cm min. width 427cm 1 FOUNDATION OF THE TRAMPOLINE HOLE: In order to ensure that the trampoline remains on it’s place, it is important to strengthen the bottom of the hole so the trampoline can’t sink into the bottom. The foundation must come only on the outside as shown below in the picture marked as grid, otherwise the rain will fill the hole. The foundation you can achieve by laying tiles or bricks or by pouring concrete. In the middle of the hole you can use a water-permeable (anti-) root canvas, in this way the soil can't change over time by weeds. DRAINPIPES FOR BETTER AIRFLOW: When placing the trampoline tight on the same ground level it’s an option to place 2 or 4 drainpipes to guarantee a better airflow which meets the best jumping experience. Ensure that the pipes are width enough to have the needed airflow. The ends of the pipes should be protected so there can’t enter any soil or happen accidents due to the drainpipes. 2 FOUNDATION SIDES OF THE TRAMPOLINE HOLE: In order to avoid that the hole would be able to crumble or collapse to the inside, the hole should be reinforced. You can place pickets on the entire sides of the hole, or you can place about 10 poles within strokes and place between horizontal boards. You can also take border walls for a perfect finish. Keep in mind the thickness of the finishing material. When excavating the hole you have excavate widther than only the trampoline size. Note that the space between the finish and the trampoline is not too wide so that the children can not fall between. PLACING THE TRAMPOLINE: When everything is prepared the trampoline can be placed in the hole. 3
